Hallo, my name is Sam River, and I'm a 20 year old, self-taught artist. I draw whatever I feel like, and that usually tends to be my current hyperfixations, as well as some OC stuff!!!

I have ADHD, and that interacts with my relationship to creating! At some point I realised that pushing for consistency in the stuff I drew and the styles I used was going against the way I understood and created art: so please don't follow me expecting much by way of consistency.

Due to neurodivergence, I also struggle with close social interactions - this means I can be infrequent in responding to messages, comments, and tags, and I also don't tend to participate in stuff like mutual culture - this is by no means against anybody: I simply don't have the capacity for that degree of social function.

My page is minor-friendly, and will always be. However, artwork may ocassionally include heavy themes, or artistic nudity - in which case warnings will be given.

And lastly: I do lead a very busy life. Art does sometimes, unfortunately, take the backseat for me, and I may have periods of inactivity.

idk! I wanted to have a photo of my own workspace and obviously a flat black monitor would look a bit depressing so I doodled something up.

I also took a low-angle shot that had better leading lines to the monitor but it felt very imposing and weirdly impersonal: the high-angle looks a bit more candid so I think I'll stick with it

HI EVERYONE!!! Sorry for dying, but I've been overloaded with just, life... But after some consideration, I think I'll be trying to start posting on here more often! I will likely do a bit of a rebrand, and unfortunately may not post as much MLP art, just because I have been taken over by a completely different hyperfixation... 🫣
