Consider the following scenario: you want to build two products. Each one has a timeline of about six weeks. You only have enough dev resources to build them one at a time. Which one should you build first?

I'll tell you what you should not do. You should not discuss which one to build first FOR SIX WEEKS. Because . . . well, you can do the math.

I feel like the guy here: stop talking and just do it already!

"It's not about the traffic"

I got that message in an email this week. Funny thing is, I'm GM for a content website, and so it's pretty much ALL about the traffic. Naturally, this came from a print editor trying to run the digital show. I really wish they wouldn't do that.

This little gem is vying for top marks with another piece of digital insight from a c-level stakeholder: "seo doesn't matter."

So much great advice, I don't know what to do.
