Im about to DIE from this weather holy hell

i dont have twitter so its kind of meaningless to post this here where this situation is not happening but you just cannot brush aside what those quiet madness guys are doing right now. this is more than a "block low effort trolls" situation when their work is showcased on and winning madness day competitions. they have a significant platform in this community and they use it to spread hate to marginalized members expressing themselves and even other crew members, and making creepy comments towards teenagers passing it off as a joke to the point where they consider leaving. you have people who feel pressured to leave the community for the crime of not being white, straight cis, thin, neurotypical or able bodied, while the perpetrators get free passes and madness day money because its on us to "just block them". how is this acceptable?? you cant brush this off as normal because it shouldnt be:

seriously i encourage you to contribute to the discussion about this especially if you have twitter because thats where this is going on. why should "popular animators are bigots" be accepted as a normal thing in the community when we can show that you cant just act this way without actual consequences

no but i cant stop talking about it the madcom fandom genuinely has a massive problem with rampant racism, homophobia, and pedophilia ESPECIALLY within the fan animation circles and people just KEEP ENABLING IT.

animators like jsoull, overtry, moiani, and kokkare do such horrible shit and even go as far as mass harassing smaller madcom artists and NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT IT for sake of “keepin dah peace” or even also attacking others on their behalf!!

ive talked before about how this fandom is way too small to be starting random drama but this isnt even drama this is people just straight up being horrible people and everyone NOT CARING because “they made x animation!!” “theyre just ragebaiting you!!”

we just keep letting people get away with doing horrible shit and putting down literally everyone who has something to say about them. were actively making this fandom seem like a safe haven for bigots and pedophiles by continuing to let these people be platformed and ignoring the nasty shit theyve done, and EVERY SINGLE TIME SOMEONE CALLS IT OUT THEY GET PEDOJACKETED

ive got two friends right now getting accused of being pedos themselves by the entirety of the quiet madness group just for having the guts to publicly condemn the group’s sexual harassment of an actual 17yo

im just so sick of it and how passive the community is about it and i do not care if anyone here blocks me or tells me its not a big deal. like im sorry i care more about actual kids getting harassed rather than letting their harassers have a safe place in the fandom just because they animated something for madness day. stop dickriding these people just because you want the positive attention of people you view as microcelebs
