Camelot where Merlin came back after Camlann
I find the idea of Merlin being unironically uther's favourite servant so funny because Merlin fucking hates that man. (For obvious reasons).
Like Uther is out here being amused, thinking 'Arthur's manservant is tolerable for a peasant', sincerely saying that Merlin is an ally against magic and telling him to take care of Arthur, breaking down Infront of him. While Merlin is in the background actively fighting down the urge to set him on fire. It's hilarious 😂
they should invent a high ponytail that doesn’t give me a headache and they should invent a low ponytail that doesn’t make me look like a miller’s apprentice going off to enlist in the continental army
You know what's the funniest thing about BBC's Merlin??
They disregarded everything, EVERYTHING, when it comes to the actual Arthurian myth EXCEPT:
GWAIN'S FUCKING OBSESSION WITH APPLES
THIS SHIT IS CANNON
Day 7: Favorite Location: Merlin’s Bedroom
Merlin September Challenge
Merlin is never beating that nerd allegation
forgive this guy he's only more than a thousand years old
when it was revealed that agravaine was a traitor, arthur asked merlin if he, merlin, knew that. in response, merlin, who had tried so hard to tell arthur (only to be treated absolutely horribly in return), didn’t say “i told you so,” or “yes, obviously i knew,” or anything that would make arthur feel worse. he just said that he suspected it. because arthur was already so hurt and merlin just wanted him to be okay. could you ever love anybody that much? insane.
I'm obsessed with how the knights sleep so normally when they set up camp and then the camera pans over to Merlin and Arthur laying like this
new to the merlin fandom and i’m catching up on all the wonderful behind the scenes content and like… they all treat colin like a princess it’s the cutest thing. in the audio commentaries and video diaries they’re all fawning over how sweet and funny and talented he is, then whenever colin is actually on camera he’s just this quiet and polite little guy lol it’s so adorable
bbc merlin has its issues but I don’t think any other media has really done “it was all inevitable and all his fault” in such a powerful way
thank you Merlin BBC for teaching us that neither power nor love saves
The Sword in the Stone
Nobody around this 4th of July camp fire making smores knows how many Merthur camp fire feels I am having right now
