Making my way through a rewatch of Merlin S4 and I feel like one thing that the fandom doesn't focus on enough, is how much of a father figure Gaius is to Arthur. Like this is seen VERY clear in s4 ep7 at the very end. Because at the end of the day I fear Uthur was NOT a good father figure. Like truly Gaius is just so fatherly to EVERY character (honestly all of the knights tbh, I can't prove it just trust me)
