14 years ago today, in 2005 when I was around 10-11, How I Met Your Mother premiered. I didn't watch the show until 2017, and I am glad that I had a little bit of emotional maturity within me to understand the things this show has tried to say literally with every episode. It will never stop surprising me how this 'sitcom' had so much power in the situations it created, the emotions it made you go through, and the deep monologues and dialogues that made you sit quiet and think for a minute or two. HIMYM will forever be one of my all time favourites and I will always be thankful to this show for making me a better and wiser person. It taught me life. And yes, I am happy with the ending, and I would've been happy too if it ended with the mother.
