Design & Build: One-of-a-kind

 Dillon Custom Homes was established in 2005.  The focus on the design an build process allows Sales Consultant Howard Kirk to work alongside the architect to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for each family.  A majority of his job is asking a lot of questions and doing even more listening to help a client create a home that functions best for their family while being beautiful and within budget. 

Greg Dillon handles the "build" part of the equation.  With a Construction Science degree from Texas A&M and over 20 years experience, quality and communication are key.

Over the next few weeks, we'll dive into what a "Design and Build" builder really is and what is involved in the process.

Memorial Day National Moment of Remembrance

Over the years, Memorial Day seems to have lost a lot of its meaning. Nowadays, it is a day off work and a time to barbeque with family and friends. While this time is good, we should remember those who sacrificed their lives to make this possible for us. They are heroes. Memorial Day represents one day of national awareness and reverence, honoring those Americans who died while defending our Nation and its values. While we should honor these heroes every day for the profound contribution they have made to securing our Nation's freedom, we should honor them especially on Memorial Day. (William J. Clinton) In an effort to remind Americans the true meaning of Memorial Day, a resolution was passed in 2000. It simply asks that at 3:00 local time, every American "voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps'." So this Memorial Day, take a moment to remember our fallen soldiers and think about what their sacrifice means to your life.
