I came out when I was 15 years old. Not by choice, but because a family member outed me to the rest of my family. I didn’t get the opportunity to come out on my own time or when I was ready. I was pushed out of the closet by someone with envy in their heart & jealousy in their spirit. I never got the chance to be comfortable in my own skin & use my voice to confess my truth to the world I lived in. I didn’t have that safety surrounding me & I didn’t know if I would be accepted by the ones around me, but there I was forced to face it head on without warning & everything was crashing down around me. Til this day I still am faced with struggles to be who I am & I have to fight to live in a world who doesn’t accept me. My rights are constantly taken away, the government makes decisions for me & my voice is constantly silenced but I AM HERE. I stand strong & I will NEVER stop standing up for myself & my right to live my life & who I am allowed to love 💞 💪🏽🔒.
