just because someone claims to be "nontraumagenic"/"nondisordered" does not give you an excuse to be actually ableist

calling someone "a schizophrenic" as an insult to their intelligence or to imply that they're delusional is gross for any reason

i was forced into syscovery by an endo system when i was extremely young and in an unsafe environment. almost immediately, they pushed me into using pluralkit. they treated my alters like circus freaks and got annoyed whenever i expressed discomfort.

for the longest time, i felt completely alone in my experiences because i didn't match what they insisted was "normal." i didn't consistently have a headspace. my gatekeepers couldn't just summon alters to front at will the way theirs supposedly could. everyone around me seemed to experience things in the same neat & tidy way while i felt pressured into pretending that i was just like them to avoid scrutiny.

i had to redo my syscovery from scratch last year because so much of what they taught me (& what the community normalized in general) felt harmful and incorrect.

you know what happened once i did that? i could actually see experiences similar to mine reflected in medical texts, rather than feeling like i was forcing myself to fit some standard. funny, isn't it? somehow, i was more of a "faker" in their community than i ever was in ours.

so yes, i am anti-endo, and i do believe endogenics are harmful to our community. i was a victim of that environment. there's a lot more i could say, and i know i'm not alone in this.

Im never going to live a normal life regardless of the amount of “recovery” I do. Theres no such thing as “re”covery for people with C-PTSD, there’s no “before”, there’s nothing to revert back to. My only option for the rest of my life is to put back puzzle pieces and try to make a person that can function. Just because a system has a little in it doesn’t mean that that system is LITERALLY a child. If the person is over the age of 18, please for god don’t treat us like we are like kids. Especially when you DONT fucking know us and you aren’t even remotely close to us. You DONT get that privilege to do shit like that.

I completely get people who have littles who have a LOT of trauma withheld that need their littles protected, but it’s really irritating to see a trend of system-related discord servers or “safe spaces” dictating when a system should and should not interact.

This even comes to picking and choosing what types of fictives/factives can interact. It’s really really fucking irritating and is genuinely making us fucking tweak out, AND WE DONT EVEN HAVE VERY MANY LITTLES!!! We just have littles that STILL resemble adults but relate closely to younger versions of ourselves!!!!

What’s even more fucked is it isn’t JUST the non-system owned discord servers, ITS EVEN SOME OF THE SYSTEM OWNED DISCORD SERVERS!!! This is why we only interact in 16+ to 18+ system spaces I stg.
