Sometimes I just wanna bring up how Sasuke is treated like a woman in the narrative and the fandom.

He to Naruto and Sakura is the prize. To Itachi is the damsel. To the leaf and fandom a cold hearted bitch who doesn't deserve the male protagonist's devotion even though he is a victim all the same and just didn't cope the way everyone wanted. He was not the perfect victim and even while striving to make his own destiny was manipulated and pushed by men's selfish desires. Always somehow relenting to the men in his life. The one time he does something for himself he is punished both by the narrative and the fandom. Then is finally married off to remain shackled to the same system that victimized him and his loved ones.

Naruto would have zero issues getting on his knees and begging. Like, zero shame. Sasuke is practically cringing in on himself as Naruto hugs onto his hips, looking up at him with big blue wet puppy eyes like “please? Please I’ve been so good, I’ll be a good boy, please? Pleeeeease?”

i’m kind of curious why gay headcanons for sasuke are a lot more popular than ace headcanons. i can see him being ace. he might be ace AND gay but like still.

i do headcanon sasuke to be ace, or at least share large aspects of the experience. i don’t think he finds bodies attractive. we see this during multiple instances. he doesn’t even remark on appearance most of the time. he is seemingly immune to sexual appeal. i believe his desires in a relationship are extremely personalized & also very intentional. i do think he forms strong bonds, and he does value physical intimacy. naruto and sasuke’s fights themselves are a kind of physical intimacy— at least the only way they know how at that point.
