I am disabled. I have a lot going on including several neurological conditions. I am unable to work.
My mother is abusive. I have understood from around age 4 that she was the one with the issues. It has affected me, but I am not as screwed up as she could have made me. She likely considers my allergies a gift. She is more concerned with my feelings toward her than the harm she is causing. She will take every opportunity to make herself the victim. I am called abusive for standing up for myself. My father would rather avoid my mother's anger than do anything to stop her abuse.
Other members of the household have participated in my abuse.
I am not looking for advice. I have been trying to find help for years. I have tried every organization and agency possible. Some of those offered others.
I am allergic, hypersensitive to the odor of all alliums. The odor of onions, garlic, and chives cause a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis. Chives, scallions, and shallots are not quite anaphylactic. I begin to have a reaction before I can smell anything. Usually my first warning is a burning mouth, tongue, and throat.
I am also allergic to scented products. I also begin react to those before I smell anything. Most cause anaphylaxis. I use unscented products as much as possible.
The reaction severity is for comparison. All are anaphylaxis.
The house is 80 feet long. The kitchen is at the opposite end of the house from my room. I react to my allergens in any part of the house.
I cannot be anywhere food is prepared or eaten. I have not been in a restaurant in years. I have had allergic reactions outside because the neighbors had cooked with their windows open.
I have allergic reactions every time I go to the grocery store. Ordering online with no safe substitutions means I get half an order, if I'm lucky.
My parents will continue to use the dog food until it is gone regardless of how ill it makes me. This is not the first time it's happened. It will happen again.
I have not found somewhere safe to live that will not be dangerous for me.
The following is a series of journal entries of allergic reactions which began on June 5th. As of the 5th, I have had allergic reactions 71 times this year. Some days there have been more than one reaction. The majority of allergic reactions were at home and caused by people in the house. We are on day 166 of this year
I understand that I may be further endangering myself by posting this.

The allergic reaction is affecting my ability to care for myself and my animals. - I had a Boost this morning with my meds. I forced down food around noon. My mouth, tongue and throat are too raw. I have not eaten since, - I didn't eat besides the morning Boost for 3 days the last time dog food containing garlic was in the house. It was Member's Mark brand. - The house could have been cleared of garlic. No empathy, kindness, or caring. This is being done to me. I'm being tortured. - Exposing me to my allergens through careless actions like not investigating ingredients thoroughly is one thing. I've had the horse out to graze once. I have not had good control of my body for days. It is taking longer in the mornings for my neck to be willing to support my head. My head is moving on its own, possibly tremors in my neck. Overall my tremors have been becoming worse. All I want to do is sleep. - I had a Boost this morning with my meds. Even the Boost is running through me. - Symptoms: Burning añd raw mouth, tongue, and throat. Hoarse. Tongue and throat swelling. Earache. Wheezing. Lung congestion. Diarrhea. Abdominal cramping, Uterine bleeding. Reaction severity 8.
On June 8th, my father heard from the manufacturer of the Farmer's Dog. They told him that there were no alliums in their product. A little known part of the FDA regulations does not require food manufacturers to know the ingredients of third party food products. The manufacturer can take the third party at their word. In my case, it was the natural flavor. They were going by the written ingredients. During the pandemic, a rule was made allowing substitutions of ingredients without label changes. I do not know if that rule is still in effect. Regardless, I trust my reactions.
