Dear Rusty Lake team,

Trying to figure out what species Mr Crow would actually be, because, holy carp, my ass did NOT realize the white bit in his eye was not just a stylistic choice...

[explanation for what I even need this for under cut :3]

I uh. Might have started working on a little AU for Rusty lake, specifically with the Hotel staff (Mr Crow, Mr Owl, Harvey, Mr Toad, Mr Bat) as actual animals. Now, this started as an idea for this year's Laketober (specifically, day 27, 'Hotel'), however I fear it might be spiraling out of control in my mind and I'm starting to consider trying to make a short comic based on the AU. Can I draw comics or any of the animals I'd need to draw? Hell nah. But a man can dream and I shall wish school will leave me enough time to learn how to draw at least the birbs!

Ironically, I'm kind of leaning towards the Australian raven (very much NOT a crow) and I even figured some stuff out that would make the story still make sense btw idk...

If you have any further knowledge on crows/birds or just want to share your opinion, please do! I'm really curious as to what the crowd thinks :DD

What can we gather from this piece?

1) there will be William and Aldous Vanderbooms, as well as a mysterious lady (whom I thought was the maid from the screenshots we got earlier, but is probably another woman. The brother's sister or mother maybe? My bet is on sister. Either way, she most likely is a Vanderboom or apart of some other noble family.)

2) each one of them holds something in their hand, BUT William. His hand is empty.

I suppose that this portraits are going to be interactive, with William being able to hold several different objects.

3) we're getting new landscape art? That's cool!

Seems to me like the place where Vanderboom family house was standing in the Roots game. Perhaps we'll see how it was build?

4) also I notice that William and Lady wear red clothes while Aldous wears blue? Maybe there's some juxtaposition happening.

Maybe she's going to die :(

During his lifetime his mental problems could become worse and end up with a severe depression, which cause serious problems with health. That’s not surprising that he always wanted another life, another attitude towards him, thinking how could it be another way, even regretting, but unable to change something

After revival all his scars are gone as well as most of mental problems, although it took a certain time while Rose helped him recover and recall how to make base actions again. Also he inherited some features of his intermediate parent, such as pale skin and cold resistance
