The point that I really like:

Monsters Inc - is NOT a cute cartoon for kids about the victory of the good.

It’s a story of injustice and a rough satire of the corporate inequality, where an idiotic top-manager can get everything just because “hey he’s just a cool dude, let’s give him a leading role”, and the talented hardworking inventor can be thrown away into the mud.

It’s a story of victim blaming, where you can be used by everyone who can, then betrayed, physically harmed, but you won’t get satisfaction because “ah, we’ll better believed that guy, he’s cool and loves kids” (doesn’t matter that this guy is a freaking criminal and a bully. And human children are still just a source of energy in the monster world, not a value)

It’s a story in which you can be just unlucky, but not the “evil who gets what he deserves”, because you deserve BETTER destiny.

And it’s the story that doesn’t end with “Kitty”.
