☆ Therian 🪶 - But when it comes to birds, it's different. I have always wanted to fly with my own pair of wings. whenever I would see a bird flying overhead I get so overwhelmingly jealous and sad because I wanted the wings and the freedom they had. And this is something I have felt since before I could remember.

I also have this deep sense of longing for horses too. the way they trot, hold their heads, gallop, their manes, everything. i cant explain it but that me. i am also jealous of their freedom too, like birds, i just want that freedom.

maybe one day i will have my freedom. caged bird, and slaughter pen horse.

okay but seriously guys, triggers and whatnot are a terrible reason to censor things. (besides like gore and that shit). I fucking hate the reasoning of 'oh but some people might be triggered by it' to censor stuff like insects, food or religion. You can't censor real life, and yeah, on the internet you can control what you see so its up to you to manage it.

I will fucking die on this hill, censoring insects because of the fact that someone somewhere could be triggered by them only makes the demonization of insects worse. They don't need to be cute and clean to exist, nature isn't sterile.

I'm so fucking done with internet 'safe spaces', I have yet to find one that is actually fucking safe to be in.

I'm very mentally foggy rn so sorry about all of this, as y'all can probably tell I love insects. They are very important critters but they don't get a lot of love.

Did you know humans can be born with tails?

Yep, real tails. They look like just a sac of skin hanging off the tail bone. You can search it up if you want, but content warning ⚠️

This happens because when humans are developing in the womb, they develop a tail. This tail then fusses into the body after a few stages of development. This tail is a ancestral trait from monkeys.

But in some, the tail does not fusses with the body, it stays and grows longer.

I am not fully educated in the topics of the human tail, so I can't give you all the details. But it seems most people end up getting it removed. Whether it's beucase it causes pain or discomfort, or just coz society deems it as weird. Not sure.
