i notice that a Big majority of food blogs are dessert themed and when they do show food that arent dessert they dont always have recipes. so this blog will be more or less a compilation of recipes through out Tumblr that cater to people that, like myslef, don't really have much, if any,culinary expertise or money but still wanna have delicious dinners at the end of the day . i wont post anything that doesnt have a recipe on the link or on the post itself and I don't own or claim any of the recipes as my own unless stated otherwise.

*taps mic* you guys are still here? …i have a redbubble i’ve gotten loads of requests to make chuck e cheese au stickers back in october of last year that i just kind of horribly ignored (im sorry). it’s kinda been a while and it’s calmed down, i know, but i’m attached to these goofy au’s and i kind of made these for fun and outrageous self indulgence!!

Reblogging because charts like these are always useful, especially when trying to convert between US Cups (volume measure) and oz / gr (weight measure).

Not having grown up with them, cups have always seemed an inaccurate way to measure anything coarse: liquids, flour, sugar, no probs, but surely 1 cup of (say) whole almonds is going to be a smaller amount than 1 cup of ground almonds, because of the air spaces.

And then there’s the “pint’s a pound the world around” business… Imperial pints are bigger, 20 fl.oz rather than 16.

@dduane has a set of US Cups, and just for fun we also got a set of these amusing spoons. What I really want are measures for Some, A Bit and most important, Far Too Much.
