Ok here’s the deal. I’m 16 years old, and I’m in college. As cool as that sounds, it means I have had significantly less time to save any sort of money for school. This means that right now, I have little to no money to pay for school itself, let alone to try to keep my mental health even vaguely healthy.
While my parents are paying the few thousand currently to help me go to community college, I do have to pay them back, which means I’m going to be over $3,000 in debt before my 17th birthday. I am going to community college for four semesters straight (I started this semester) to get my associates before I turn 18, and I’m doing all this to not only be able to escape my homophobic, abusive mother, but to get a head start as I plan on specializing in gender reconstructive surgery, which is many many years of expensive medical school I already have in my debt plans.
I give all this background simply because I need money. I have a job, but due to my young age, it’s very much a starters job. I have one thing besides myself I am spending money on, in order to give my mental health a much needed boost, and that’s one convention I’m going to this year. Conventions give me time away from my family and with my friends where I can feel safe and happy, and where I can actually see my boyfriend. However, this year we no longer have anyone to stay with for this convention, which means we have to buy a hotel room, and they are not cheap. This is all I’m asking for. Please help me by donating money, so that I can save up for this hotel room. All money donated will go towards one of these two things, and nothing else. Even a few dollars is helpful.

In terms of cosplay, I not only sew, but I craft, and I also style wigs, including adding wefts, adding wigs, adding length and fullness, dying, and heavy cutting and styling.
