Princess Takes A Hard Stance On Drow Sympathy
The overcast skies hanging above our wonderful capitol matched the intense mood of today’s speech by the Princess. After weeks of helping in the war effort and touring around the kingdom offering a ray of hope in this time of chaos, she returned to the castle, declaring there would be a short speech given in the courtyard. While unexpected, after hearing her words it became clear exactly why she called it. The passion in her voice was simultaneously touching and authoritative, clearly taking after the Kings.
While there was no mention of the official stance on the raids, the princess made her feelings quite clear. “The Drow are an enemy to our way of life. They threaten the elves, and inevitably, they will threaten us.” She stated, facing the crowd with a stern glare. “If they were to go to war against the elves and win, we would fall shortly after. These are not rational folk, they mean to rid the surface of any opposition to their rule.”
Of course, at this point it would be impossible to give a stance on the drow without addressing those of us who find them a good alternative to the elves and out alliance. The princess had this to say: “To any and all who find themselves drawn to defection, you are an enemy to the state and a threat to the security of all intelligent life who resides above ground. Should you desert, I hope you find it in yourselves to stay away from the fighting. Should you defect, may the earth reclaim you before you see the mistake you made.”
