Alright so we hit a bit of a stand-still with the whole “give Linkle an animal form or nah” vote. So I decided to compromise: instead of her having an animal form, she has an animal friend! Not too sure what its name would be, but I thought Linkle having a little owl friend would be cute. The owl helps her on her hunts and when she’s out scouting, giving her a pair of eyes in the sky.

Suggestions for the little hoot friend is welcome! <:

"A maze? I'm great with directions, I want to give it a shot!" She's not actually, but she'll try anyways.

“Oh, are you now~? Then this game should be a pushover for you.”

Linkle has entered the maze of mysteries, will she be able to beat it?

And despite her words of saying how she’s great with directions, it seems to show that she really isn’t as great as she’s making it out to be it looks. As a snowman would come out from the ground, only to pick her up and carry her all the way back from the start.

“…You surely are bad with directions, my dear~”

Having a weak spot for cute little birdies, Rapunzel squatted down to the ground to greet their gentle chirps with an eager grin. The world was filled with so many wonderful creatures and for so long Rapunzel had only seen them from a distance.

“Staring at you? Oh- sorry, no- I didn’t mean to be staring at you!” Rapunzel apologized, catching her mistake, “It’s just… all the cute little birdies around you are sooo precious!”

The cucco were curious, but at least not mean- if you didn’t attack them, they were fairly peaceful birds. So there was plenty of loud squawking and some flapping of feathers as they inspected the blonde-haired woman, crowding around her.

“Oh, you like cuccos too? I love them!” The other had quickly said the exact right thing to get Linkle in the mood to talk more, her eyes lighting right up as she bounced forward. “The village I’m from’s famous for raisin’ them! And naturally, I’m the best we’ve got back there- the name’s Linkle!”

Finding himself in a new location (one which is definitely not a region he’s familiar with) with only his Alcremie for company is more than a little concerning. Particularly because without his Klefki, he’s already lost the keys to his apartment. Also without her, he doesn’t even have his usual keys. 

He stretches, popping his back in the process, and glances down to notice his Alcremie has already wandered off. At least she’s not very fast. 

“Hey–Peaches come back here. It’s not safe to wander off on your own.”

His chiding seems to have no effect as she’s found a young trainer? girl to pester for treats. Or maybe she’s asking about his keys. He doesn’t really know. 

“Sorry about her.” Walnut bends down to lift Peaches into his arms, and gives the girl a slightly sheepish shrug. “She seems to like you, though.”

Linkle had been on her guard, at first- but when she’d realized the strange thing coming to look at her wasn’t a monster, she’d instead been overcome by curiosity. After all, what sort of creature was this? So weird.... so weird.

“Uh.... well, I’m glad she likes me!” Her cuccos seemed fairly neutral towards both Peaches and the person following behind, which was good enough for Linkle. They were usually pretty good judges of character, after all! “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like her before, I’ll admit!”
