names are hard
we've started wanting secondary names. not so much to replace our current ones, but names that are more common and harder to trace to our source/system in certain situations. like, we're fine being called by our source names, but i dont want a stranger in a discord server calling me nightmare. its hard to explain our discomfort.
anyway, we need name.. suggestions? dumps? something like that. its hard finding human names that fit an inhuman creature. i like adam. it has biblical connotations and is a story including forbidden fruit, much like my own.
dust wants an M name. also biblical or, at the very least, sophisticated.

i think the differing views on medicine (particularly the DSM-5 criteria) between different mentally disordered groups on tumblr is very interesting.
like sysblr is very much a "stickler" (for lack of a better term) to the DSM. mostly pro self dx with research, discourages traumatizing yourself and others.
edblr believes that eating disorders are more complex than as described in the DSM, which i agree with, the criteria is vague and very much not inclusive. pro self dx with research, encourages recovery and discourages doing this to yourself.
pd-blr? cluster blr? idk. that side, i havent seen much medical talk at all. seemingly pro self dx with research.
what this makes me think is that: different disorders with different representations and criteria have differing views on medicine as a whole.

i wish more people talked about the dissociation and memory loss that comes with cdds. we could never remember individual days of our life, and have years worth of memories missing. we forget to do basic tasks like flushing the toilet (3x this week), eating, washing clothes. it impacts our grades in school and relationships with other people. dissociation fucking sucks.
