hey i don't know if you realize this but this blog gets recommended as similar to the blogs of lots of people who posted about otgw in 2014, regardless of whether they follow it or have it blocked, which would normally be tolerable except the url implies and the title outright says its about sexualizing child characters. I'm aware that's the "joke" but it absolutely doesn't work esp with tumblrs new format and now several people are stuck with an unremovable "isn't sexualizing child characters funny" banner which everyone looking at their blog has to see. the mods are most likely adults by now, can you appreciate how weird this is?

i think this is a kind of thought provoking ask. i was not aware it was still showing up in recommended, so i apologize for that.

i no longer know any of the other mods (at least one of them is completely inactive) and if it were my choice it would probably not be up anymore, but due to how shared blogs work theres not much i can do individually. i can hide it from search results though ? if that helps

This issue actually goes back to 2014 as not very long after this blog was created we actually made a hard rule about not posting any lewd content of the characters or promoting it (and I know for myself I had to delete a LOT of asks that broke that rule) so I’m well aware of how the blog comes off in concept.

This was always more of a crack joke confession blog than anything (in similar vein to @dirtygfconfessions—even checking our history you can see that in the types of posts that got published)

I will say though, I don’t particularly appreciate the more accusatory tone (“hey isn’t specializing kids funny”) since all of us WERE minors during the heyday of this blog, and when the blog originally died off (and since then this mostly became more of a platform to promote the admins, if anything)

and I don’t know about the other moderators, but I’m actually a victim of CSA/grooming myself, and thus am very uncomfortable with content that shows/implies CSA, fan-work or otherwise, and actively advocate against it and people who make it.

Update on the van situation:

We are almost a third of the way to the goal to pay off our van, which means if we can get it paid off, we would never have to worry about losing it ever again.

Hey y’all I’m the one with the racist father from a few months back who threatened to institutionalize me here with an update to my situation

So he got a new job offer and if he takes it we’re going to be forced to move to Qatar for upwards to a decade.

This is a problem because I’m bisexual and nb and they aren’t exactly that friendly to lgbt individuals.

So now I have to move out ASAP. I’ve made barely 200 dollars, which isn’t nearly enough for me to live off of.

So it’s absolutely URGENT that I move out, so if you can help me that’s really be great
