this fourth of july i’m hanging out with my “situationship” and since i’m 18 now my mom is letting me have him in my room and im foaming at the mouth and jumping off the walls im so excited!!! like yay i get to fully extend my legs bc im not sitting on the couch downstairs and be snuggled in my own blankets :3 :3

Futile Future Predictors

I tend to choose to play by the rules, despite having friends that don’t.

As a kid, I’d get called a “Goody-two-shoes”, my refusal of rebellion angered people. I wasn’t trying to be better than anyone by being organized or prepared.

Regardless of my consistent diligent preparation, I cannot predict my future. Sure, I love my Tarot Deck, my Magic 8ball, and my clairvoyant dreams, but not all types of predicting are “fun” to try.

For instance, the kind in the blue box, or pink box, or whatever is found first. Now that one is what I’d call the opposite of fun.

Those final thirty seconds where you’re trying not to freak out, the final thirty seconds where you’re waiting for the lines to appear, those final thirty seconds where you just wish you could ask your mom for help, yet there is still nothing you could do but wait patiently.

Whether it’s you or a friends, I think it’s a nightmare regardless of what a person wants.

It can be rather lonely, especially when you’re trying to remain the less rebellious friend, so not i’m angry because I’ve realized no amount or organization in my life will change how unpredictable my body is becoming.

Im angry at the possibility of the work I’ve done being futile.

Angry because I know that at any point in time my life could be forever changed.
