Pitt fans, I feel I must alert you to the film The Hospital (1971). A movie following one day in the life of a suicidal doctor, who’s the chief of medicine at an underfunded city hospital, as he makes ethically dubious decisions while confronting the realities of the American healthcare system. Sound familiar? Also, there’s a serial killer.

It’s a dark comedy/satire that won an Oscar for best original screenplay. Seriously, it’s shocking The Pitt crew wasn’t asked about the similarities on their press tour.
