Hello padre!! Has it really been 87 days?? That’s okay! I’m graduating school this week and I did actually get into a community college for this fall! I even got my friend to be my dorm roommate! :DD I’m very excited it’s definitely something to look forward to!!

I hope you were able to get your classes and I very thing is going alright!! Summer is around the corner and I’m so ready to get a summer job >>:))

Things Damian and middle aged Arab uncles have in commons:

1- They want to know where their family is going to at all time, but they get offended when their family wants to know where they are going

2- They always exaggerate their academic achievements when they were little kids:

3- They pridefully announce whose son they are like it’s a badge of honor.

4- Always complain about the prices of things they don’t even want to buy

5- They will get mad angry if someone in their family dared to bring a cat to their house, but then you find them playing with that cat 5 minutes later

Welcome back dad! I read everything before and man I spam a lot lol, it sounds like you’ve been pretty busy with life and stuff! I have liiike two three months of school left? It’s pretty wild! I’ve been pretty caught up in class recently so I can’t complain much-but man that’s a lot of switching! I bet that must’ve been overwhelming!

As for college I do kinda have a choice but it’s more like-get into college now or you’ll never take it type deal?? Which is fine I mean-by the end of this I’ll be like-19? And then when I get my associates of arts!! I think I finally decided on a community college-I still have to apply but,,,idk! SJJSJS

If you made lore for a character you’ve had since you were 16, and you’re in your 20s now and have a better grasp of narrative structure and power creep, you can just retcon the dumb stuff. Like you can do that for free. You’re not beholden to the junk you wrote 5 years ago, and you don’t need to justify removing it if it sucks.

Anywayssss,I’ve had some more memories going on and man-siblings am I right? One second youre all hanging out on the couch and then the next it’s a full on war of tag! Have you had any memories lately? Or a favorite one?

Take your time, honestly. I failed my first college classes, and my second ones too. I've dropped a ton as well. I took about a year off I think, too. And I only recently settled on a major. It can be confusing and hard to navigate. Don't rush into it. If anything, enjoy being a teenager, and venture out on your own before going to college. Assuming you have the choice. 

I have a lot of memories. Mostly I've been thinking about my father, Thomas, lately. I miss him most of the time.

Goodmorning dad!-or afternoon? Maybe it’s afternoon-I’m not sure!

How have you been mood wise lately? All this winter break has put me in some kind of lazy rut ya know? I skipped working out yesterday which-I know it’s okay to take breaks but like-I was doing it everyday ya know? Then I decided to stay up till 5am researching psychology! Brains am I right?

This sounds pretty nerdish but I can’t wait for school to come faster-I need some homework to do or something ://

Sometimes you need a little break. If you used to work out every day, and suddenly stopped, maybe your body needed it. It's not like your hard work will go away over night. It takes a lot of time to build muscle, but it takes just as much time for it to atrophy. Plus it's easier to gain back muscle you've lost if you're already an athletic person. 

Researching psychology is pretty interesting though. I wish I could get into it since I think it's an interesting subject, but I'm not invested enough to genuinely study it.

Oh!! Hey!! Sleep is for the weak anyways-even if we might pass out in the next half hour!

IT’S VERY SCARY! It’s to real,kind of freaky, but as long as I don’t think about it tooooo hard then it’ll be okay-cause when I overthink about it that just means I have at LEAST two more years after this so what’s there to celebrate ya know and if I can do two more years than why not do more? I mean knowledge is power right? Listen dad, what I should do is-become a programmer and get a mansion like back home right? Or I could be the second bob ross! Instead of happy trees it’s happy robins and then I can just paint little fuzzy robins but I don’t like painting-I’m not very good at it, I really like sketching though! Line art can be a real pain sometimes-oops rambling, uh-YES! Scaryyyy! Not as scary as some Kim memories but I mean-still, the reality of being a adult? How do you do it??

Both of those sound like really good ideas. I've always been interested in programming, but never could dedicate myself to it. But who knows. Maybe further down the line I'll change my mind and try to take it up. Art is a good career too, though. I've always been passionate about art. 

As for being an adult, I didn't exactly have much of a choice. My parents didn't let me continue being a teenager once I turned 18. After that they forced me to take classes and get a job even though I was still recovering from a bad mental break. 

I can say, though, that it gets better over time. It's not as great as being a kid. Nothing is. There's a lot of responsibility. But eventually you get used to it. I still kinda felt like a kid when I was about 18-20. But now that I've been 21 for some time, and I'll be turning 22, I've accepted I'm an adult. And I'm okay with it now.

But while some parts of it can be difficult to bear, it's freeing in other ways. I can drive wherever I want. I can watch movies I want. I can participate in things I wasn't able to before. Things like that. 

And it's okay to be confused. Everyone is when they first turn 18. It's a myth that you're supposed to have it together before you turn 30. It's an exception if that happens to you, not the rule.
