this is especially maddening to me in fb groups or subreddits for like, fishkeeping or medical conditions, when you ask something like “can anyone who has expertise or experience with x share their perspective here?” and then half a dozen people post screenshots from fucking google ai overview as an answer. like that’s even more insulting than “oh I asked chatgpt” like do you not think it occurred to me to google this before I asked for human input????
