THE DISASSEMBLY DRAGONS AU

a little something I've been cooking up for the last couple months, now finally being posted on this side blog >:3

Most of the actual art is gonna be paper doodles because motivation and I broke up in october. But STILL lotsa fun ideas! I might eventually make some comics! No promises on frequent uploads tho

The disassembly dragons au takes place in a hybrid fantasy/modern world on the continent copper 9. Uzi, a 17-year old human girl, lives in an underground colony to hide from the dragons that fly overhead!

One day she sneaks off, shoots the world's least threatening dragon, blah blah blah bonding ensues blah blah blah Nuzi!

analyzing ur character design (which is frickin AWESOME btw)- how would uzi’s solver form work? the disassembly dragons seem to have a more human like form, as well as a dragon one, so would uzi have a dragon form as well? or would she look more like a wyvern or something?

sorry for the long ask- i really love ur au and if my adhd decides to let me lock in i might make fanart!!!! (also sorry if im stupid and misinterpreted something)

If you look closely at the posts already up, I've actually already shown the solvers true form if you all can figure it out

But all in all... The solver is its own thing, a separate species from the dragons.

They're called a lot of different things. Shapeshifters, witches, zombies, parasites... It just depends on how you look at it.

J's role is this au is slightly shifted because of Tessa still being around. While the events of the gala and hunting humans on copper 9 has certainly jaded her and made her much colder, she still does want what's best for the team, even when she can be cruel and unfair in doing so. She's the close second in command in their little hierarchy, and doesn't question anything Tessa says.

Normally, this isn't much of an issue, since Tessa's not usually one to give the dragons bad orders. but if, say, it wasn't really Tessa... Then we might have a problem.

(also, while I didn't have her transfem in THIS au, because the sexual dimorphism of the dragons means I'd have to change her design, I do actually HC her as trans in all of my human aus! Specifically a cute little 1950s Jessa au I haven't gotten around to posting on my main acc..)

It is and it's still very important to the lore, albeit slightly different :]

Nori and yeva both escaped the place after a certain event 18 years ago, nobody really seems to know anything about it... Or at least they won't say anything.

As for Mitchell? I never gave it much thought! But just for you, online stranger, I officially decree that in this AU he got away and lived on to have a wife/husband and kids.

sorry if it's already been asked, it's kinda late for me rn and i don't see this question so i'll assume it wasn't. Are you perhaps thinking about writing a fic of this AU of yours? If so, i'll definately give it a read. Anyway, have a good day/night, whichever more appropriate.

As much as I would love to show my story in the context of an actual fic, I don't think I'd be able to portray it in a way that feels satisfying to me! I want everything I share about this AU to be something I'm proud of, and while I have written some small bits about this AU, its just not to the level of quality I hold myself up to.

But I DO plan to slowly share through some mini comic and small reveals as we go! This awnser could change, if I find a writer who'd like to collab, or if I get more confident with my creative writing, but for now, it's an unfortunate no <\3

Did Cyn and Tessa try and get eNVy to happen before NUzi occurred, if so was their reaction to it, “NO! Brother is with V. They clearly have chemistry… but him being with Goth is too cute tho, and V isn’t subtle enough to fool us with the way she looks at them… that’s it! the OTP is becoming an OT3.” and start scheming.

Also, why are our Draconic Doofs attacking Copper-9 anyway?

Cyn and Tessa ABSOLUTELY tried to set them up in their pre-gala days, but I imagine that the attempts faded as their focus shifted more to their mission.

As Cyn dislikes Uzi, she probably wouldn't ship them or try to set them up... Tessa on the other hand, is happy for him! Tries to help him with human relationships where she can (though, you get a bit rusty living with dragons for 7 years)

As for when Envuzi happened... They definitely didn't expect it. Cyn? Disgusted. Outraged. Uzi? Getting ANYONE? Let alone TWO partners? Ridiculous. Tessa? Surprised, but supportive! Polyamory isn't uncommon between dragon flocks.

So glad to be back, these past few months have been really difficult with my health, and things are finally starting to get better. I'm working on answering the asks I already have!

I've already done a few over discord, and now want to officially open them on my Tumblr ^^ I specialize in feral characters, but I can also do anthro and human well!

I'm currently doing 15% off any creatures of sonaria, rain world, wings of fire or murder drones ocs/characters :D

10-15$ for full body, also depending on character complexity and level of polish

I do ALL of my transactions via greenlight pay link, and will only send a heavily watermarked version of the final piece before I receive payment.

My only boundaries are nothing lewd or NSFW, no realistic gore (candy gore is completely fine, though!), hateful imagery or complex mech ocs (simply because I don't think I'd be able to deliver well)

The technology and culture is a medieval modern hybrid, but the modern is more like the mid to early 2000s, so I wanted to give her more scenecore elements.

Honestly, designing her was probably the easiest once I figured out how to draw the humanized drones, and I'm happy with how she turned out! We love an emo/scene baddie.

Hope you’re still working on this AU! I really find it fascinating!

I very much am working on it, I'm just currently in a circumstance that makes it hard to do so, Technical difficulties in my phone and art tablet being broken, and Medical difficulties in my personal life.

I'm very glad some people still have interest though!
