Hey guys! I am back! I will be posting hopefully semi regularly again. But here's the update for the blog. Since the last time we talked i had gotten my handsy hands on some updates! So, officially!

A giggle escapes the crimson lips of the woman as she hears the words directed in her general direction from another. Bright crimson eyes squint with curiosity as the legendary mentor of the garden twirls on her exposed toes, hopping close without making a sound, her figure arching in an almost inviting sense as she makes sure to bend in a way to showcase all of those curves she feels her newly acquired companion is so unable to tear her eyes away from.
"Oh? Are you worried for me, miss? How cute of you. 'Tis lovely weather, and nothing nourishes a flower quite like a quiet, cold summer day." Coquelic's voice sounds playful and melodic as she shows her perfectly white teeth in a smile, eyes squinting ever so slightly to form a charming expression. A soft hand lands on Titania's shoulder, brushing off some stray little bits of dust before the owner of that hand leans ever so slightly closer.
"Since you showed me such gracious worry, I will give you something nice in return. Are you willing to have a little talk with this flower?" A self-indulgent, almost playful tone she displays, nonetheless, displays a lack of malicious intent. The giant red flower tied into her hair smells pleasant, as if it never stopped blooming.
"It's not shackles! Well, not really. These are more like, uh…amplification devices. That's what Summer called them anyway. They amplify the coolness! I d-don't think that's quite t-the case though." The girl pointed to her strange shackle-like constructions on her arms and then awkwardly rubbed her shoulder, looking away. She had gotten excited to explain the things to the stranger but remembered he's still a stranger mid-sentence and went back to being shy.
"Umm…I work for…a bureau sort of…we kind of…tend to deal with this stuff. But recently this town has been…a bit…too active. So I was sent over to help out. C-chief didn't exactly say who. But I assume…y-you." She finally fidgets in place, playing around with the hem of her dress before she sighs and then starts to look all over the man. With a thought she extended her hand, spreading some of the light particles all over the redhead in kimono. An asset of her power to raise spirits and energy.
"It should…help. I won't drag you down." She says so with a more resolute stance and a small fire burning in her eyes now.
The woman makes an almost overly dramatic pondering pose, placing her hand against her own cheek as her unnaturally green shiny eyes focus onto those of the holy maiden. The writer chuckles again, this time her chuckle sounding much more good-natured than before. Her penchant for drama has always forced her to act in the strangest ways during the most serious of conversations, but Jeanne would be fully aware that this woman is taking the conversation entirely seriously. A smile spreads across her face, a confident one showing her slightly sharper teeth as she prepares to speak once more.
"Well, if you insist. It is because, my dear, the heroes exist in order to make others believe themselves to be able to do goodness! The saints are merely another version, an inspiring tale that may yet give some poor lonely soul a true understanding of selflessness and morality! It's poetic in a way! You have suffered immensely and in some ways continue to do so, but what inspires others to treat you as a saint and…say, the dear Gilles as a monster isn't some particular quality of yours, or even how you approach things. It's the sheer nature of how you choose to continue on. Gilles chose to cause ruin and destruction! You chose to proceed on the same path you always did."
The dramatic delivery of her little monologue is supported with the gestures of her hands, the bright green of her fingernails blurring slightly as she moves them around in a fast, chaotic manner like a conductor of the conversation. She ponders for a moment, leaning ever so slightly back.
"But why attribute that task to you? That's very simple. You were just lucky enough to be remembered. You were there when someone capable of recording history recorded you. You were there when enough people resonated with your story and your plight and how you chose to be. That's all that separates a Jeanne D'Arc from another poor unnamed soul that was unjustly ruined by the whims of society. A higher meaning to it all could be assumed, surely. But to me? Nothing is more impressive than finding yourself amidst the meaningless chaos of the universe and leaving behind a legacy that is remembered."

The commander of the legion cracks her neck ever so slightly, releasing another breath as she centers herself in the right now and right here. The familiar screams of mania somewhere in the back of her mind are drowned out with no effort, her mind calming down as she always does, focusing on the cold and hard logic. Icy blue eyes finally find themselves studying the battlefield around. Earl is already walking heavily and barking orders, with people collecting all around him, largely alive but injured in various places. They were not the strongest force in all of Syndicate for nothing. She believes in them. Eyes then return back to Ereshan, now focused beyond measure once more.
"No. You get out of here now. Regroup with Earl. He'll tell you what to do. They need me. I can easily destroy most of them, but they will get all over me like moths to the flame. Those maniacs may know how to use weapons and their old tactics, but they're predictable. They love the strongest source of mania around. Believe it will make them stronger even if it's just the damn thing making sure they will turn into corruptors sooner than later. I need you to protect others. That's an order."
Her voice is filled with steel as the energy crackles all around her. The woman starts walking away from the group, and Ereshan hears fearful screaming and rage-induced sounds of fighting. The maniac front broke down entirely. They are fighting each other more and more. It won't be long before a full outbreak of corruptors occurs. That will make her life easier. Corruptors do not use the nasty Mania weapons. She waves back at Ereshan before taking an inhuman leap at one of the buildings ahead of her. The superwoman of the Syndicate is on a path to war.

The amused grin on the face of the lavishly dressed man does not extend to the eyes hidden behind the tinted round glasses as they study the man in front of him with a cold calculation. Though even through that coldness, amusement could be seen. And then it clicks. He laughs.
"Ah! Haha! That's a funny prospect. I like you; you have guts! Most folk I met around here aren't shit. You seem to back it up a bit. So what's your poison of choice? Punching or something worse?" He would lean forward, their height nearly equal to each other as he lowered the glasses, eyes now pleasantly squinting, facial expression entirely shifting into a more naturally relaxed one.
The woman claps her hands suddenly, her smile shifting into that of an entirely different kind. It's pleasant, almost too pleasant. It's too sweet, and you can even, for a second, entirely forget just how fake it is when you look at it long enough. Her gloved hands collide together into a sort of prayer gesture, but she isn't praying at all. She doesn't speak a word after, as the other woman begins her grand speech. She doesn't even say anything when the blonde announces her resolution.
She simply smiles, her eyes closed ever so slightly, squinting and studying every move of the supposed sword saint. Her brain works a mile a minute; she analyzes all of the information she had gotten from both the words of the other woman and her acts. How amusingly self-righteous. She truly believes the world loves her. She truly believes nothing will go wrong for her, and she can dispel any darkness in her path. The unshakable belief that she will be there to guide and defend as she sees fit.
That unshakable belief will be what eventually causes her undoing. She cannot tell when. She can never even tell how these things occur. But no matter how deep she dives into the mania, she can only see a pitiful end. A fire meant to burn forever and then be quietly snuffed out. She extends her arm to the silent device floating beside her, hovering her palm just below its lower pointed side, seeing a convenient opportunity now that the other woman had leaped off the balcony to go and play her favorite hero game.
"Please report my findings to the council. Subject calling herself the Sword Saint. Cannot be classified under sinner. But it shows similar tendencies to a sinner's disposition, namely a pronounced, overwhelming obsession that defines the entire being. Calculation of powers reveals a near peerless record. The subject is confident, far too confident. The general disposition reveals a lack of true awareness of pain and hardship, as she seems to have never encountered either. That, coupled with absolute naivete and a hard focus on viewing everything in a positive light, makes her easily fooled and manipulated. The subject does not listen to reason and refuses to process any arguments thrown at her, no matter what emotional pleas may be used to attempt and entice her attention. Subject can be used as cannon fodder against more dangerous corruptor-like entities if she can be persuaded to cooperate. Attempting to capture it would simply waste too many resources. The source of her power could be used to study to produce better anti-mania resources for the FAC. Report over."
Her soft voice sounds indifferent as her expression remains the same as it was before. A pleasant smile. The machine hovering above her arm beeps and signals a few more times before slowly winding up, connecting to the servers of the Paradeisos administration. The woman makes no attempt to follow the other off the balcony, nor does she actually watch anything that unfolds beyond. Meanwhile, for the sword saint, the streets became barren very quickly right around her. Most people screamed about a monster and ran, leaving her behind in an empty street.
No alarm is triggered, confirming Shalom's suspicions that the power given to this woman was not given from a source of mania. The woman simply turns around, leaving back into the building, humming to herself as she does.
