The difference is that being gay has nothing to do with sexual attraction so actual children can be gay, but being ace is about sexual attraction so actual children can not be ace. It’s very simple.

A 12 year old not being interested in sex is a common experience and doesn’t necessarily mean they’re ace because a 12 year old is still a child.

Miss Major, a Black trans woman who’s been an activist for LGBT communities for DECADES, has had her fundraiser up for FIVE YEARS by know, which is for her to be able to retire with dignity. Not with luxury, but with dignity.

We’re talking about a lady who was at Stonewall, the incident that the white kweers love to talk about. She’s dedicated her whole life to LGBT rights and other causes, she’s done WAY more for LGBT rights than a stupid white gay show could ever dream to do, and that if it actually isn’t a scam.

And that shit gets funded within two days? 15,000 in less than two fucking days and Miss Major hasn’t reached her goal of 200,000 since May 2013.

She’s at 117,991 dollars as of now, after more than five years.

If people had donated a little over 210 dollars each two days she’d be reaching her goal JUST NOW. If this Butch Pal thing fundraiser had been open for about the same time that Miss Major’s has, getting 15,000 each two days, in those same five years they’d get around 14,175,000 dollars.

If Miss Major had steadily received 15,000 dollars each two days, she would have reached her goal within less than a month.

But I guess an unrealistic dumb white show made by transmisogynists and antisemites who hate poor people and threat 17 years old kids for criticizing them is way more important than giving back to a woman who’s done so much for LGBT rights for such a long time.

I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about violent exclusionists who are making people feel “unsafe” and about “aphobia”. I like how y’all play the victim when I haven’t seen any violent rhetoric from exclusionists, and I keep up with many of them seeing as I am one. But I have seen some from inclusionists as well as concerning amounts of homophobia and shaming lgbt people for their sexualities (which is what we’re supposed to be celebrating this month) so I thought I’d share a few receipts, let’s start with threats of violence

I just wanna say like, if you’re ace AND lgbt I know it can probably be disheartening seeing a lot of ace discourse atm. You are welcome at pride, but please understand that the people we are uncomfortable with taking over pride are straight and cis ace people.

Don’t confuse ‘ace people aren’t inherently lgbt’ as ‘ace people can’t be lgbt’. Of course you can. I know especially for younger ace lgbt people that this discourse can be frustrating and easy to misinterpret, please know it only comes from a place of community preservation.

Have a good pride if you are lgbt! And do your best to not react in a knee jerk way when you see posts criticising cishet ace folks, it comes from concern and a place of love for our community.

My school’s GSA doesn’t have a mogai problem because we weren’t allowed to form a GSA. People have tried in the past and it’s been shut down so fast. And no one claims ace spectrum because they know they’re just normal and if they tried to separate themselves from the norm they could possibly be subject to the homophobia we face from teachers and other students. I honestly think those of us who are brave enough to be out at school would literally fight anyone who was just there for “uwu pride”
