Let me ride on the devil's back
"No ya didnāt." Kenpachi barked off, slouched grimly on the stool in his safe behind-counter fortress. He didnāt manage to hideĀ a shade of wheezing note in his increasingly angered voice, showing all too clearly smaller man yanked his chain a littlest bit too hard.Ā
Yet short moment after venomous phrase faded away in the air frown on barkeeperās face loosened and only a brief snort had been let out as some form of blowing off steam in way nearly substantial. Understood, my ass. Guy didnāt understand a single neural impulse zipping through Kenpachiās brain, being placed on the opposite end of spectrum in nigh-on every aspect, yet still tried to blow smoke up his ass by assuring that āunderstoodā.
All he understood there was that itās time to stop. Nothing more.
Kenpachi wasnāt prone to enlighten him either way.
"Besides." Quiet snarl sounded at the dimness of bar and he leant aside to prop on the elbow against the counter, head tilted a bit towards Yumichika in a swan song of interest. "I donāt have a fuckinā clue why ya would like tā visit my workplace, but yeah ā itās lotsa nicer āan ones Iāve been āfore, aināt it? And more⦠peaceful. Usually.ā
"And if ya donāt wanna be a reason that blissful peace here would get ruined fer, keep all these how-dāya-call-āem collections outta my sight. And outta my room. And outta every place I could look at and see them and have sudden and compellinā urge tā rip off someoneās head. Or even two."
Slow scratch at the chin.
"ā¦Unless ya have there some dealies in not so eyefuckinā colours, then I could⦠give it a second thought, I bet."
Of course flamboyant male did understand him. Wasnāt all that hard, seeing that they were living together over good while now, quarreling, arguing and discussing with each other over good amount of time flying by without even realizing proper extend of it. He understood, didnāt mean he would act that way, while decorator wasnāt so sure if exactly this piece of vital information would find its way so easily in twisted brain convolution of tall drink mixer.
Not. That. It. Was. Important.
Slight nod was given towards next words, nonchalant smile still perfectly intact and in place, while his mind was spinning around last encounter Kenpachi had with furniture effervescent interior designer brought home in attempt to ātestā itās durability when things mentioned to be durable just lost its worth moment dark-haired man entered home apparently already a tad displeased because of loud workspace, not that he minded completely but this was no reason to destroy stuff in sight he didnāt like ā and who werenāt for him in the first place.
Yumichika just perked up at the last few words, somewhat alike to a taunting grin spreading out on his juvenile face, raising a well-kept eyebrow in mild wonderment. āOho?~ All of a sudden?ā He was inside decorator, whatever was this towering barbarian thinking?! āOf course I have. What a question! Is there something particular you have in mind?ā
Just because Yumichikas own preferences were situated at much more eye-catching stuff didnāt mean he wouldnāt be able to make a more āsuitedā suggestion for someone who seemed to be more interested in reserved and earnest colors ā if the barkeeper wanted a challenge to find something in his extraordinary assortment Ā ā Yumichika would be sure to find the fitting object!
Pair of fancy pillows zoomed off Kenpachi's room just before its inhabitant did the same, looking in the way that could make random observer wonder how in the world unfortunate pillows left the room in relatively undamaged state. Pointing angrily at the guilty pieces of homeware Kenpachi turned head towards the supposed violator of his familiar, cozy mess. "Could ya tell me please the fuck it was doin' IN MY ROOM?"
Yumichika had just left his own room because a familiar ruckus was droning through the apartment, making him wonder slightly what again had happened, as for the moment ā and the first time since weeks ā he was absolutely innocent to anything that might have happened in the flat, making him blink slightly at the sounds and grumbles, just to get up a second later, moving slowly to the corridor to watch fancy furniture decoration fly through the air.
Hadnāt he bought that for Yachiru?~
Why was it soaring out of Kenpachis room?~
Decorator was soon disturbed by familiar disgruntled face of flatmate and barkeeper, angrily demanding some kind of explanation that ā truth to be told ā feminine man was not directly able to give, but had a hunch, making him chuckle slightly and shrug his shoulders at the nearly tomato-colored rage coming down on him.
āI donāt know~ā Yeah he really didnāt, wasnāt his fault this time. Yeah he brought them inside the flat, but seriously not for Kenpachi ā the colour was not suiting him at all and would be a fashion-crime to force it onto him, - looking at the lovely shade his companion was wearing. Maybe he should get him the carmine colored bedwear?
Ah later~
āBut maybe you should ask Yachiru~ After all I bought them for her.ā And with the brightest smile and most innocent shade on his face, the interior designer vanished again. Ā

"Hmmmm~?" Oh who would have thought something like this? The little female Yumichika was able to see now through a thick lilac curtain hiding a wide variety of different books was exactly the one he had a nice chat with yesterday in that dinky little beauty shop~ Entering the store quite swiftly, the beaming man had a look around - what a nice little facility she had, while approaching her eagerly. "Hello my dear~ i never thought i would find you in this nice little shop~"
the-erudite-raven
Ā āāāAhĀ ! HelloĀ !ā Not used to such demeanour but definitely not displeased by this wamrth and welcoming attitude, Nanao allowed herself to offer a smile at her turn. The young man in front of her wasnāt much unknown now, given that yesterday they had a very nice little chat during a very nice session of manicure. When at first she could have been startled by the sudden appearance of a man so close to her, the seller felt instead quite the contrary. Laying back the huge cardboard she was filling, the small lady rubbed her hands and pushing her fringe away, got going⦠In a unusual way for her. "Even dusty book sellers can go to the beautician, SirĀ !" OhĀ ? AĀ jokeĀ ? The young female felt her smile going wider, at the comfortable feeling she was experiencing at this moment. That was strange but still, pleasing. "Are you looking for something in my shopĀ ? I probably have many things able to interest youĀ !"
Oh she is really adorable, Yumichika had to admit, even that she wasnāt as fine as yesterday, still a delicate and pretty young female. Ā āI see, I see!~ I wouldnāt have thought otherwise, to be honest, everyone just needs a nice relaxing day after a hard week at work, or?~ā A light chuckle left his lips, gathering the files he had been carrying a little upwards again, something he wanted to show a client of his, yet there was enough time to walk through this adorable little shop. āIt looks like a hard work for such a delicate young woman like youāā
After her question, the young male had a glance around, not really having the urge to buy something in this nice little bookstore, but maybe there would be a few things he could acquire. Stepping down from the second level, eyes were darting around the high bookshelves, while his mind was flying over the books the designer was used to collect. But truth to be told, it was just too much to look at, serving for him to turn around with a nearly meek smile. āāwell, if I would look for something, then apparently after books for design. Arts, music, furniture, it is a hobby you know.ā
He was just moving a second time, laying his own files down on one of the empty places while waiting for her to join him. āIf you can help me with that, I might buy something. My name is Yumichika by the way, and you?~ā
Blurring the line between living indoors and outdoors. Those windows would cost a fortune to replace.
Let me ride on the devil's back
Tāche, as if he would believe these fucking āofcoursesā.
"I donāt give a shit if itās expensive or not cuz I donāt plan on doinā it either." He barked in soaring peevishness, polishing some unfortunate glass so intensely quite amazing was that fragile item survived it. Why from all the people around that goddamned bastard had to have it in for Kenpachi? Kenpachi was perfectly content with state of his room and didnāt feel a slightest need to change anything there. Yachiruās pink stuff of use (and sometimes origins) unknown for him was already enough to damage his well-being. Pink fuckinā cubes and other ridiculous facilities he wouldnāt even touch with ten-foot pole not to mention sit on them were last thing he could need now.
"How many times I have tā tell ya I like my room how it isā¦? Find other victim. I aināt takinā yer shit any longer."
With these words Kenpachi flopped on his stool angrily.
Stool was not pleased.
Yumichika had to chuckle at the whole scene, especially at remonstrative object made out of wood tall barman was sitting down second ago, attracting quite loud āknackā sound what served for youthful man to raise an eyebrow in question at the whole movement. Truth to be told, Kenpachis reluctance in respect of interior design inside mutual flat was all to understandable, seeing that his own exterior was rather rough and unkempt whereas decorator himself was more stylish and frail in comparison. Not that Yumichika minded~
āOkay! Okay! I understood, no worries.ā Wide smile spread over his face, lifting hands in seemingly defeat, while shaking his head slightly. Onslaught of new furniture details was not the āoverallā reason of his visit after all. Leaning onto the counter, purple eyes had a glance around, intaking the whole interior and scene ā listening to the music with a light chuckle, ostensibly he was surprised upon the whole view. Flat-mate didnāt really fit in whole scene, but this was just clichĆ©d thought.
āI just wanted to visit your workplace finally~, really itās a nice little bar. Introducing you to some pieces of my new collection just came besides~ā
Carne Vale Carnival
"Moemi Kiba, nice to meet you." He gave Yumichika a bright lopsided smile. It wasnāt his business who lived where, but he felt much more relaxed knowing no bodies would go flying.Ā At least not yetā¦Most of his staff brought around good people. Mo had a feeling Yumichika would keep up that record. Suddenly he remembered what heād been working on earlier. He had vision for a new gimmick but wasnāt sure how to execute it. āSo what do you think? You look like a stylish sort and I wanted some advice. I want to give a CarnivĆ”l type celebration for the end of summer. What would you suggest?ā
"Hm?~" This was some unexpected kind of question, depending on the fact that they only met today and a little while ago the short barowner - Kiba, yes there was something ringing in his mind - didn't even know that said 'volatile Rocky' was Yumichikas flat mate. But who cares~ Compliments were always accepted quite easily and openly. "Hmn~ That depends. Carnival is a rather eccentric motto for a summer party."
He had to chuckle slightly at the thought. The choice of event was peculiar and would most likely serve for a good publicity and full locationĀ ifĀ it was brought out the right way. "And it depends on the nation you would like to take as example, the best-known are after all Venedig and Rio de Janeiro." This just provided the unknown with a whole variety of different opportunities, likely falling behind their own thoughts and possibilities. "Do you have some kind of ideas already?~"

Mo could hear a very unique gripe storm surging in the bar area. If sharks had a warning call, Rockyās rumbling complaints would probably be identical. He didnāt want to think of the costs another brawl would bring, so the petite man hurried over to see what the trouble was. The cause was a beautiful effeminate young man. āWowā¦what a knockout! Such flawless skin tooā¦ā A blush creeped up Moās ears as he turned away. āWelcome to Moās Spot, but pleaseā¦donāt poke the Rocky. Heās volitileā¦ā
"Hmmmm~?" Sudden approach was unexpected and Yumichika had to turn around from his place smiling up at the 'volatile' barkeeper as a voice behind him resounded so freely. Interesting~ Kenpachi had implied he worked together with a man easily be able to misplaced younger than he was, not that the adolescent male would assume it was this one, but with the words spoken he simply assumed it was the barowner. "Thank you and I know~" 'Volatile' was maybe not the word Yumichika would use, more - 'disgruntled'. Blush of the gentleman in front of him was easily noticed and it just made the decorator smile wider. "I live together with him, i'm used to his antics, you could say." A light chuckle escaped his lips at the last words. "Ayasegawa Yumichika, and you might be?~"
Let me ride on the devil's back
āOf course, of course~āā¦.not. Yumi had to admit, he had no idea what Kenpachis problem was in him adorning his room at least a little bit as ā āfilthyā ā was a clear understatement of the whole situation. āI just organize everything a bit and bring a bit of colour, you should be glad i do that freely~, normally itās really expensive you know~ā All this was said with a light smirk, while sipping his drink innocently, he would never take money from the barkeeper, but the joke was too good to pass.
