A blog dedicated to the little critters I made based off of disorders! Here I'll post art, information and other stuff to do with them!

You're free to ask specific characters questions or request certain things (like wanting to pet or hug one) if you'd like to!

So,, it's been... A while

I'm so sorry, I have no idea what happened if I'm being honest. I sort of burnt myself out I guess? I just suddenly lost all desire and motivation to draw these little critters and so I stopped. Which sucks because I actually love these guys and I want others to be able to love them too :(

Honestly I think partially it might be due to how complex the designs themselves are? They're incredibly hard to draw and sometimes take me ages to do, which I usually don't mind but since losing most of my motivation it's became a bit of an issue. I still love their designs, especially the NPD moth, he is my fucking baby I love him </3 but hes so complex

I do plan to redesign these guys one day, so hopefully they'll be easier to draw and I'll be more likely to make more content for them. I don't want to change their designs massively though, I still want them to be recognisable as themselves.

Apologies if this doesn't make much sense lol, TLDR: I got burnt out and that's why there's no posts. I'll probably redesign these guys someday

Inktober day 5 !! Potion

Sometimes it's easier to imagine something better than to face the reality..

Did a little gif for this one, going into Galaxy's life a little. Rant + still images below the cut

Galaxy was originally diagnosed with schizophrenia (since the doctor they first saw didn't really know DID existed / didn't believe it was a real thing) and they were given Olanzapine to help medicate it. They used to imagine the medication as a magical potion to help convince herself to take it. Of course, given the fact that he didn't actually have schizophrenia, the medication didn't work. It made her mental health worse because xey struggled to understand what was wrong with them, why the voices didn't stop even when on what was meant to "fix" xem (as their doctor had put it). Eventually they went back and got a new doctor (after a long time of struggling) and was taken off of Olanzapine. Later on they get the schizophrenia diagnosis removed and changed to DID when his new doctor realises what's up.

Inktober day 4 !! Glasses

Just showing off a little :3 rant below the cut

Cosmo is definitely into fashion. Low-key though. It gets them attention, which they like, especially when it comes from their friends. They often enjoy trying to put dress those around them in order to get the most compliments and attention. It can be a bit of a bad habit but their friends generally understand what they need and never fail to give them the compliments they want, even when they're literally just wearing glasses

Inktober day 3 !! Ruin

I had a few ideas but I ended up going for this one... Rant below the cut as usual

So the idea for this was to show how Aster ruined all its relationships; not on purpose, it just didn't care to keep them up. Aster considers relationship a lot of work and they don't like having to mask just to keep a partner, which subsequently leads them to hurting people on accident. They don't mean to, they just don't want to pretend to be someone else just to have a partner.

((the idea is actually kind of based on my own experience in showing ASPD traits to partners.. haha))

Inktober day 2 !! Overgrown

Admittedly not as overgrown as I wanted but I'm tired as hell today.

Okay, so the idea here is that when Lunar is gone from her garden (due to what takes place in the game) it is left without anyone to care for it and grows over. The idea of the green stuff on the bench and buildings is that it's moss, but I don't know if it looks like that so you might also be able to consider it rot if you want

Solar was a little harder to draw this time, and is a little bigger on accident, but that's just a sizing thing. We can pretend he's closer or something. Solar was easier but I probably messed up more, but I love her pose

But uhm. Yeah. I do plan on (trying) to do inktober with this little guys, TRUST

Some food for y'all because I don't think I've done a proper drawing in a little while

So , , here's all the critters having a little sleepover

(yes I did watermark this to shit. I worked on this for so long lmao)

A few other lighting versions + a rant about making this and my thought process under the cut !!

So, making this took SO LONG. I'm not very good at posing and this definitely challenged me. Plus I don't think I've ever drawn this many characters in one piece, so it was a good practice. (Also I may or may not be shipping Galaxy and Nebula lmao). Personally I really liked doing Aster's pose, just kind of standing back there menacingly lol. Well, not so menacingly, they're such a cutie. Also I tried to give everyone little hoodies or sweaters, a throwback to that one drawing of Solar in a hoodie (Lunar definitely made everyone wear them btw). The background was pretty hard. I'm not very good at them as I mentioned before, and I'm especially not good at perspective but I gave it a shot this time! I quite enjoyed drawing Solar too, he's definitely my favourite of them all <3 (yes I have favourites). Also Galaxy was meant to have a blanket but it was cut out because it looks weird, so yeah, sorry guys. Also LUNAR IS SO CUTE HERE, she's just, so peaceful!! All of them are meant to be relatively tired, but I really wanted at least one or two to be sleeping (Nebula and Lunar)

And for context this piece takes place in some kind of community room. It's assumed the perspective is from a door / window, which is why the lighting a circle (it's meant to be light from the window of the door, if that makes sense).

I think this would be a nice starting point for the game, but unfortunately for y'all I don't think I will go for it lol.

Speaking of the game I have designed a player character, but y'all won't see them for a bit don't worry

Tiny tiny Solar sprite ! This is my first time making a sprite lol, it's probably not even a "proper" sprite or whatever, but I had fun making it (yes the watermark is big, I know, I needed it to be legible)
