REBLOG.
FOREVER.
This is an actual Therapist Recommended method for dealing with a runaway “inner critic” and this comic is perfect ❤️
Never thought of it this way
if you wouldn’t let your best friend listen to those thoughts, then why would you let yourself? <3

I lent a girl my umbrella yesterday
now the amount of girls I made wet is -1.
How much does it cost to park Santa’s sleigh?
Nothing. It’s on the house.
Saw @DearEvanHansen for the first time, best day I’ve had in a long time! @andrewbfeldman such an amazing performance.. I’ve never felt so connected to a story.. thank you! #YouWillBeFound #DEH
Hey, my tweet made it’s way to tumblr, cool!
I finally saw Dear Evan Hansen yesterday, and.. it broke me. In a completely good way. I’ve needed to be broken like that for a long time. I’ve bottled up so many emotions about being lonely, and socially awkward/anxious, and everything else the show is about for so long, that it felt so good to just feel again. To stop letting myself be numb to it and acknowledge how broken I am, but that it’s okay because I’m not alone.
Always stay true to who you are. Don’t change yourself for anyone else. Don’t hide your pain, because I guarantee you won’t like what you become when you can’t acknowledge the feelings that are there.
You are loved, and you will be found.
Sincerely, Me
Some of my fav frames from my new animatic
This animatic made me cry and is one of a million reasons I fell in love with Dear Evan Hansen
;’D
Do you have ADHD? Apologies if this is rude or invasive, you just seem to express some ADHD traits and it's always cool to discover someone with ADHD who has done such amazing things with their life.
I’m not sure. I’ve never gotten tested or diagnosed for it so I’m reluctant to say one way or the other.
Either way no matter what debilitating factors you may have, it doesn’t stop you from doing great things
I’ve got ADHD, and I found my passion as a 911 dispatcher. It’s heaven for me, every call that comes in or every radio transmission is something new to focus on for a short period of time and it’s perfect. I don’t see it as debilitating, I was lucky to find a career that takes advantage of my condition, hope that can inspire someone to try for the same! :)

JSE Edit Week 2: Heartfelt Moments
From: The Trevor Project Charity Stream
When thinking about heartfelt moments, this one in particular jumped out at me. I know Jack’s acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community means a lot to a lot of people (myself included), so I figured it was a good way to start off the week. 💚
Since we’re trending second on Tumblr today, I want to take a moment and use this as a chance to talk about something important.
There have been 2 mass shootings in America over the last few days and every time I see one of these in the news I feel sick to my stomach. Such awful, unnecessary and avoidable tragedies. People’s lives ended forever because of some sick minded people who should never have that much power in the first place to do that much damage so easily.
Something has to be done. Leadership need to take charge and stop spouting the same bullshit over and over again, while not actually implementing change. Laws need to be rewritten or changed or new laws brought in to make this type of event harder to enact. Media need to stop circle jerking these events for clicks and views and exploiting tragedy for gain. I dunno man just SOMETHING. It’s horrifying to think these types of things still happen in 2019.
I dont have answers sadly, all I have is a voice, an audience and no tolerance for this stuff.
Our mental health system is terribly broken. I am a 911 dispatcher, I’ve talked to so many people who are suffering through terrible mental illness and find it so difficult to find the help they so desperately deserve and need. It breaks my heart. I’ve been in that situation, I know how it feels to be trapped with dark thoughts that you feel like you can’t escape from, and it makes you think there’s no way out. It’s terrifying. I wouldn’t wish those feelings on anyone.
Through my job I’ve talked to so many people who tell me they can’t afford to seek mental healthcare, or the providers in the area are too busy. We need to offer more psychiatric care to our people, for free. There needs to be more clinics, more staff, easier ways to reach out for help.
Banning all guns isn’t the issue, either. Our way of providing permits and licenses is. A simple computer background check only tells you they’ve never committed a crime YET. We need thorough checks. You should be interviewed by a detective and a psychologist. Your family and friends should be contacted for references. Talk to their coworkers, their past employers and lovers. Understand them as a person, not just a few pages of an application. It shouldn’t be so easy to get a permit. If we can spend so much time and money fighting a “war on drugs” (which should not be a criminal matter, but a mental health issue), we can find the time and funding to keep guns in the hands of responsible people.
I feel like every time politicians discuss the issue they become far too polarized. One side screams take all the guns, the other screams mental health. We need a middle ground. We need sensible gun control laws, and a mental health system that isn’t corrupted by corporate greed. And we need to stop fighting amongst another in America. Every time we discuss this it becomes a political fight, and the discussion becomes two sets of extremists that refuse to agree on any part of the issue.
It’s heartbreaking there are terrible people in this world and we even have to deal with this issue.
You're damn right I'm voting for my favorite gamer!
Hell yeah gamers!
Even Bill Cipher will donate to a good cause!
Today was a tough day for me. My grandmother’s funeral was so sad and I was not ready for it.
I donated several times to the stream while I had a moment, in memory of my brother’s friend Emilia. She was taken from us too soon after struggling with some metal health issues. Thank you @therealjacksepticeye for doing the stream and I know all the money you raised will help countless people get through some of their worst moments and save many from a tragic fate.
It’s always so sweet that he donates every stream
Can’t let you guys do all the work :P
Awesome job @therealjacksepticeye ! I’m re-watching parts of the stream since I was busy through it. Missed last month’s pin and I’m so sad, I had all of them until that one. Won’t make that mistake again!!
If you do some kind of collectors box at the end of the year maybe you could offer a version with all the pins, with the money going back to all the original charities for each pin!
Happy EMS week!
