If you're reading this, you've luckily stumbled upon the blog of one Tina Cohen-Chang. I'm a graduate of McKinley High and a former member of the New Directions. I was heading for Brown University after graduation but after a change of plans, I now currently reside in New York City alongside my friends and am working towards my dreams. And don't worry, I'll get there.
Artie appreciated the enthusiasm and support he received from his best friend; it was nice coming home to someone who was actually willing to sit down and listen to what he had to say, and it made for a fun and loving roommate-ship. His eyes perked up a little when she confessed to having more to say, but whatever it was, he was sure it could wait a couple of minutes. Besides, his news couldn’t possibly affect whatever she had to confess, anyway.
"So, I was sort of a hot mess earlier," he said, referring to his attempt to juggle multiple and secretive love lives at once. "I didn’t realize who I hurt and who I let go of when it was all happening, but spending that weekend with Julie… Well, I realized she was actually the only one I genuinely liked and wanted to take it slow with. She’s different." He smiled to himself as he intertwined his hands together and let them rest on his lap. "I finally asked her out for real, and I guess once I get on my computer and change my Facebook status, it’s official."
Tina grinned, waiting anxiously for Artie to finish whatever else he had to add on to his news. As Artie first started speaking, Tina slowly nodded her head, knowing she agreed that he had been a mess what with his juggling act with all the girls he had been seeing. And, well, she had to admit a tiny bit of hope started in her, thinking maybe Artie had made the same realization she had. But as Artie continued on, she slowly felt her smile fade away more and more until she was only left with a shocked expression on her face. She looked at the smile on Artie's face and instantly knew that she couldn't say anything that she had wanted to. Tina forced a big smile on her face, feigning excitement. "Artie! Oh my god, that's amazing! That's just... that's so great for you," she started, trying to keep up the act as much as possible.
Artie let out an amused laugh - almost too amused - and patted her shoulder lightly to indicate he was joking for real, just to be on the safe side. He nodded, recalling seeing a similar article online. “I read a few critics too, and they all seemed to be pretty satisfied, so I’m happy for her. I’ll have to get tickets for a show, soon. Or maybe I’ll have Rachel get me some for free,” he said, almost slipping in the fact he was going to get one for Julie, too. “Sounds like an eventful weekend. I’m glad you guys were able to have a little fun while I was away - I know that tends to be pretty difficult.” His eyebrow wiggled teasingly, letting out a short laugh.
"They liked my short film," he started suddenly, switching topics to his own weekend. "People were strangely very fascinated by it, and I managed to collect a few business cards from actual producers and directors." The dream of being a director was so close to fulfilling that he could basically taste it from here. "Julie and I got a lot of praise for it," he said, being a bit cautious when his new girlfriend’s name slipped past his lips. He rubbed his lap with his hands hesitatingly, feeling suddenly nervous yet excited. "I had a pretty special weekend."
Tina rolled her eyes, lightly shoving Artie's shoulder a little. "Yeah, we managed to have an okay amount of fun," she replied, laughter falling from her mouth as well.
Tina felt her smile widen as Artie moved on to talk about the success his short film had gotten. "Good! I'm so happy for you!" she exclaimed, patting him on the leg supportively. Even just looking at her best friend, she could tell just how genuinely excited he was and she was very glad to see him that way because she knew more than anyone that he really deserved it. "That's just... amazing," she added, laughing. She bit her lip for a moment, pausing as she considered telling him about her newest discovery. "There's, um... there's actually one more thing I wanted to tell you, but I'll let you finish up first."
Artie was almost a little upset he had missed out on all the spectacle that was going on in the city while he was away. Although he was glad he didn’t have to face the wrath of Sue Sylvester hundreds of miles away from Lima, the whole weekend as a whole sounded pretty entertaining. A melancholic smile appeared on his face when he heard the name of Mr. Schue’s son, a slight pang hitting his chest both in sadness and genuine sentiment. “That’s great,” he said softly, his smile more cheery than seconds earlier. Finn would’ve been really happy to hear about that, he thought. “A gay bar? Bet you were quite popular in there,” he joked, giving her a smug look which he knew would be returned with a slight resentful glare. “Did you get wasted?”
Tina couldn't help but scowl at Artie, her eyes narrowing into a small glare. Given, she now despised any references toward her brief phase of romantic feelings towards her now best friend, Blaine. Nevertheless, the look on her face was quickly let go as she started smiling again. "I didn't get wasted, no. It wasn't that bad," she said, rolling her eyes. "Though everyone did drink. Then the following morning we all went to the newspaper stand and were happy when Rachel got an amazing review from a notorious critic. And that was it," she finished, clapping her hands once.
Artie smiled proudly, appreciating her approval for the gifts. “I’m glad you like it, then,” he stated, dropping his bag on the floor as it was sort of bothering him the way it was hanging on the back of his chair. Releasing that load of weight was sort of a relief, too.
"Oh, Mr. Schue was here too? Shoulda guessed," he said as it was obvious, though it was - Mr. Schue was Rachel’s biggest supporter, well, besides Finn and of course, Tina. He shook his head chuckling, somewhat amused by the fact Sue Sylvester hadn’t changed one bit. Not that it was such a shocker, though. "Well, that’s not creepy at all." Artie grimaced in horror, shuddering at the thought of having Sue as a roommate, even it only was for a night. "Oh my god, no way?! The kid’s born? What’s the name?"
Tina nodded, only accepting it as obvious fact that Mr. Schue would have come to see Rachel's opening night. Tina could only share the same expression as Artie at the thought of having Sue living with you. Tina smiled, clapping her hands a little. "Yeah! They actually named him Daniel Finn Schuester," she explained, her smile softening at the nice and great sentiment it had been that they had named the baby after Finn. "Anyways," she added, pausing for a moment. "Before all that, after the show turned out to be such a success, Blaine made us all go to a gay bar to celebrate, which was... eventful."
Artie was genuinely excited to tell Tina about his rekindled romance with Julie. She was his best friend and a great source for advice, after all. He knew that she’d support him regardless and be his rock if he were ever to have doubts about his love life. He wasn’t sure what news to break first — how well his film did or Julie. Maybe easing into it would be a better idea, come to think about it.
"I missed you too bae," he grinned, accepting her open arms. "I have so much to tell ya." He grabbed his bag that was hanging on the back of his chair, pulling out a tank top with the font ‘Florida’ on it and a gold bracelet with little charms on it. "It’s sorta a lame gift, but I thought I’d bring something back," he shrugged as he handed her the souvenirs from the visited state. He moved towards the couch so they could sit and talk, and for Tina to settle back down to her seat.
"So, how was Rachel’s opening night? Y’know, besides from how well she did and the fact that Sue was there—which is something you have to go further into, because what. The. Hell.”
Tina grinned as she took the top from him along with the bracelet, lightly laughing. "It's not that lame," she assured. She moved back over to the couch, reclaiming her seat as she set the shirt aside and moved to put the bracelet on her wrist.
As Artie spoke, Tina looked back towards him, soon shaking her head. "It was seriously insane. Mr. Schue and Sue came to New York for Rachel's opening night. Mr. Schue was here to support her but Sue claimed she was here to watch Rachel fail," she rolled her eyes a little. "Anyways, she somehow forced her way into staying at the loft, so that was even more insane." Tina paused, gathering the next bits of the story. "Mr. Schue had to leave before the show though because Ms. Pillsbury went into labor."
Having one of his films being recognized by an actual motion picture event was something that was beyond Artie’s dreams. Submitting it alone was just a leap in the dark — he wasn’t sure if other people than himself and Julie would understand the true meaning behind Bags in the Wind, but after receiving both constructive criticism and praise from classified film producers and critiques, he felt like he was going somewhere. In addition, sharing the limelight with Julie had caused them to grow closer to each other. Now that he was fully on the market, he felt like he was actually ready to jump into a proper relationship.
Fortunately, Julie agreed to giving him a second chance and during the weekend spent in sunny Florida, they connected. Whenever they weren’t being spotted supporting each other at the festival and laughing and crying at both amazing and horrible films, they were hanging out at each other’s hotel rooms or eating at some nice restaurant across the street. Artie felt like he was finally doing something right.
Unlocking the door, Artie rolled in, wearing a giant hat and sunglasses and sporting a customized T-shirt from the film festival. “Wassuuuuuuup,” he hollered as he entered the living room. “Tee, I got some stuff for you.”
Rachel's opening night had been insane. From the weird sudden appearance of Sue Sylvester to them going out clubbing to celebrate Rachel's success, it had certainly been a fun-filled night. But there was a definite thing missing with Artie gone and Tina wasn't sure if she was the only one who felt that way or not. Tina was sure it was just because the night was a big thing for their little group of people that lived in New York, but on the other hand, she sort of thought maybe it was just because she missed Artie in general.
Having Artie gone had given Tina a lot of time to think. About her life, about the two of them. And Tina finally got to thinking about her feelings for Artie. She had been puzzled and confused about them, mostly due to the little funny feeling she had begun feeling in her stomach when she was around him again. And it was in that alone time that Tina had finally come to terms with the feelings she was having. She did feel romantically for Artie again. And she didn't want to wait around. As soon as he was back, she would tell him about this and see if there just may be a chance he felt the same, too.
Tina had been relaxing on the couch in their apartment, her eyes scanning over a magazine as she sat there. It was when she heard the door opening followed by a very familiar voice that she let a grin split out across her face. Moments later, he was rolling into the living room and Tina sprung up from the couch, setting her magazine down and moving quickly towards him to lean down and give him a hug. "Hey! I missed you!"
Oh, well. It’s not like she’s not going to do 500 other shows I could go watch, but I’ll send her some flowers for the occasion. You better keep me updated on everything.
My short film Bags in the Wind got accepted in the Fort Lauderdale International Short Film Festival! It’s great to finally have some recognition for my work, and I’m more than thrilled to be spending the weekend in Florida even though I have to spend it with my ex-almost-girlfriend, Julie.
I’m a little disappointed I won’t be attending the opening night of the much anticipated revival of Funny Girl starring my great friend, but I’m glad Rachel’s decided to spare the energy and be happy for me instead of being upset over the fact that I have other priorities, and it’s only fortunate that she’s decided to save her voice for her opening night, or I’d never hear the end of it.
Artie had been working all day on finishing "Bags in the Wind", which was nothing less than incredibly awkward due to the fact that he had just ended things with Julie and they had no choice but to sit in that same editing room they had been sitting in together for weeks, only this time they hardly looked at each other, and sentences were blunt. Finally getting back to his apartment, he searched his pockets for his keys as usual, but found nothing. He tapped his whole upper body in panic, even wiggling a bit in hope to hear the sound of metal ringing together. Nothing. He shifted slightly and grabbed his backpack although he usually never put his keys in there. Desperately searching for the keys, he pulled out all the contents on his lap, not a single trace of his keys. Empty. "Damn it," he muttered, knocking on the door, hoping Tina was home. He wheeled back, waiting for the door to open. He tried again. Knocked harder. Knocked again. Okay, she wasn't home. He went to the little hiding spot by the door where he had the spare keys, only to find, again, nothing. Oh, of course. Tina had the spare keys now. Stupid. He leaned back on his chair, wondering if he should've called Tina, despite it being a huge risk. He was ready to confront her and make up, but what if she wasn't ready? What if she hung up on him? No, he had to see her, face to face. God, he never wanted Tina to come home as bad as he did right now.
Tina was thankful to be finished for the day. Her last class letting out, she departed for the apartment as soon as she could. Arriving back at the apartment, Tina started feeling around her person for her keys, having a grim realization when she didn't feel them. As she continued up to the door, she desperately hoped that Artie was already home to let her in. Spotting Artie, her eyebrows furrowed as she paused in her walk near where he was sitting. "Did you just get home?" she forced herself to ask, despite their non-communication. "I forgot mine," she admitted.
Artie pulled out his phone and played a mean game of Candy Crush Saga while waiting for Tina's arrival. Soon as he heard footsteps approaching his direction, he looked up to see Tina doing the exact same he did when he got there. He waved his hands around, showing no signs of keys. "Don't have 'em."
Tina groaned at this discovery, leaning against a nearby wall as she crossed her arms over her chest. She looked back at Artie. She hated fighting with him. As much as she had been able to keep up this little grudge, she knew that she was tired of it. "Artie, I think we should talk," she started.
Artie fidgeted nervously with his hands, awkwardly looking around, holding back the temptation to whistle a tune. He glanced over at her casually, slowly shifting his chair towards her while trying to be subtle. He let out a quiet sigh as he spoke out loud, "We should talk." His words echoed hers, almost in sync, His forehead creased as his eyebrows raised before he let out a quiet chuckle. "I think so, too." He gently wheeled towards her, stopping just a foot away from her feet. "Look, I'm sorry. It was really stupid of me to invite Vanessa over and do inappropriate things under our roof. It was also really stupid of me to date two girls at a time. And date another girl after that. And totally screw that date up. Anyway... Our friendship is the thing I value the most out of everything that's going on in my life right now and I really want it back. More than anything."
Tina let out a slight laugh at the way they spoke the same words. Despite thinking she would talk first, she fell silent as Artie beat her to the punch, listening to his apology for all it was worth. She had to admit, she had agreed with how he shouldn't have dated all those girls at once. She smiled gently when he admitted how important her friendship was to him and within even thinking about it, she knew she felt the same. "I care about our friendship a lot, too," she spoke, softly. "And I appreciate you apologizing, but... I wasn't completely in the right either. I mean, we're living together. It's not such a crazy thought that we'll get in other relationships and then," she laughed a little, rolling her eyes. "Maybe end up bringing said relationship partner back here. The point is, I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have freaked out completely on you like that. If it's okay, I'd really like it if we could be okay again."
Artie felt a faint smile forming on his lips when she responded, genuinely happy she felt the same way he did. Deep down, he knew that they would never hold a grudge upon each other, hoping that she had spent the time they didn't speak on thinking about how to make up as he had. "Well, I'm just surprised you were oblivious to what I was really doing in my room. I should probably learn how to lock the door, too," he chuckled, letting the short laugh die down a little before continuing, "I'd really like that."
Tina let her smile widen as she felt the comfortable feeling settling between them again. "Good. I missed being your friend." Leaning down, she wrapped her arms around Artie to give him a tight hug. "Let's never fight again, okay? It's way too exhausting."
Artie let his arms fold around her waist, hugging her tightly back with a grin. "Have you even met us?" he joked lightly, biting his bottom lip as he looked fondly at her. It was almost as if he had forgotten the fact they were locked out of their apartment, and now that his biggest worry was taken care of, there was only one problem that remained. "So, how do we get in our apartment?"
Tina was immediately relieved, happy that all of their fighting was now behind them. As she pulled away finally, she instantly remembered the fact that neither had their key. "Oh," she said, her voice small. "Er, I don't really know," she admitted.
Artie slumped slightly in his chair, staring blankly at the door while trying to think about something. "Well, we can't really climb in the window or anything... Should we just get the landlord?" He turned to look at Tina, his forehead creasing slightly. "Wait, why don't you have the key? You never forget it."
Tina bit her lip in frustration, eventually nodding when Artie suggested getting the landlord. "Yeah, that's probably the best thing we can do," she agreed. Tina lifted a hand to scratch at the back of her neck, slightly embarrassed. "I don't know. I guess I've just been especially forgetful lately."
Artie shook his head, despite him being half of the blame they were locked out in the first place. "So disappointed. This is why we shouldn't really be fighting. Your memory starts to fog and all that crap," he claimed with a sigh, still shaking his head. "Anyway, calling the landlord. Hopefully he's not a moody one." He picked up his phone, searching for the landlord's number in his contacts before pressing the phone into his ear. "Hello, this is Artie Abrams from apartment 4D you're speaking with. Yes, hi. I was wondering if there was a possibility that you could make a quick stop and unlock the door for us? We both have unfortunately lost our keys and currently unable to enter our own home, so if you could just---Oh, great. Thanks a bunch. See ya."
Tina laughed, shaking her own head. "Let's try to make sure that we don't fight again for a long time." She fell silent as Artie called the landlord. "Are they coming?" she asked, lifting an eyebrow. She did feel a little foolish for forgetting her key but it wasn't like it would end up happening again.
Artie hung up the phone and nodded at her question. "We ain't countin' on him coming to our rescue again, that's for sure," he scoffed, shaking his head. Putting his phone down, he patted his lap, smirking at Tina. "C'mere. You must be tired of all that standing."
Tina rose an eyebrow, her lips quirking up. "You're pretty ridiculous, you know that?" she told him, her voice teasing as she moved forward and accepted the invitation to sit in his lap, instinctively loosely wrapping her arms around his neck. "The guy's probably going to get the wrong idea when he gets here."
Artie quirked an eyebrow upwards, shooting her a look. "Really? That's what you're worried about? You do know that he's on his way to get us into our apartment," he chuckled, a hand resting firmly on her back. "Girl needs to sort out her priorities." Smiling, he used his free hand to push a strand of her hair back without any particular warning in prior. "You look better with your hair back," he commented casually.
Tina rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Okay, I guess that already does pretty much give that kind of idea," she let in, a laugh escaping her lips. Normally, people probably would assume they were together in a relationship. Tina bit her lip as she felt him brush a strand of her hair away. Her and Artie had always been this close, this really was nothing new. But, for some reason, she still felt some nervous feelings in her stomach all of a sudden. "Yeah? I'll be sure to make a mental note of that for future reference."
Artie nodded nonchalantly with a genuine smile. "Good," he mused, letting his eyes linger on her eyes, not realizing he was probably staring. Lately, or maybe a bit before the near past, there would be certain moments where he would just subconsciously take a step back and appreciate his best friend. It'd be little things as meeting her kind eyes, having just a short conversation or hearing her laugh - it'd both bring him back to their former fling and make him feel things that were beyond 'friends'. Not that he really bothered to do anything about it - it wasn't like she'd possibly ever feel the same. Hearing footsteps approaching, he snapped out of his short trance. "That must be the landlord."
Tina could feel a brief tense moment take place as their eyes connected and, in that moment, Tina started thinking about just spilling everything. About how, despite how she tried to deny it, she felt like she might be feeling things beyond friendship for him again. And just as Tina had started to open her mouth a little, Artie spoke and she snapped out of everything she had been thinking about. Looking towards the source of the sound, she scooted out of his lap and stood up again. "At least we'll be able to get in our own home now," she started as she ran a hand through her hair and gave a small, almost nervous, laugh.
Artie laughed tentatively as the landlord unlocked their door, his mouth shutting the second he was sent a harsh look. "Thanks," he muttered, his voice low as he was admittedly sort of terrified of the man. "Honey, I'm home." He rolled in the house, turning his head back to give Tina a smug grin. "Well, I'm gonna put my things down in my room. Do we have anything for dinner?"
Tina let out a relieved sigh as she made her way inside of the apartment. She rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Yes, yes. I'll make it, as usual," she responded, her voice joking as she moved into the kitchen area to start preparing a meal for both of them.
Artie dropped his bag by his bed, wheeling out his bedroom and into the living room as he automatically reached for the remote. Leaning back in his chair, he turned on the TV, scrolling through the channels. "That's my girl."
Tina let herself into the apartment and gently took off her jacket, hanging it up. She had gotten home a little earlier than expected from her show with Blaine. "Artie?" she called, glancing around. "I'm home!" Deducing that he was back in his room, Tina moved down the hall past the living room to Artie's room. Pausing in front of his door, she heard noise from inside and furrowed her eyebrows. "Artie?" she called through it, knocking once at the door before figuring that was enough of a warning and walking inside. However, she stopped completely in her tracks at what she saw inside the room, her jaw dropping.
Artie was content with how little effort it took to get Tina out of the house; Blaine seemed to be more than willing to take her out, luckily. He could only hope he could rely on him to keep her out for a while -- or things could end up rather... awkwardly. He had just finished the little dinner with Vanessa, one of two girls he had started sleeping with, whereas their night continued in the bedroom. Unlike Jessica, the other girl, she was more eager with the stripping than anything else; not that he complained. His head spinning of pleasure, his stomach bubbling with some kind of sensation, it was hard for him to focus on anything, let alone pay attention to any noises made than the moans and the bed creaking lightly. Close to his climax, he heard the door fly open, his eyes abruptly opening and widening in shock at the sight of Tina at the door. Out of reflex, he pushed Vanessa onto the ground, quickly covering himself up. There was nothing he wanted more than to pull the covers over his head and stay there until Tina left and grew old so her memory would fade. His whole body was burning, but it was far from the high from the sexy action he was getting anymore -- it was sheer embarrassment. "You're back... early," he grimaced as he took a quick glance at his side, where a naked Vanessa was clearly annoyed she had been pushed off, though no signs of humiliation from her counterpart.
Tina was absolutely speechless as she looked between the two, not knowing what to say. She could feel the anger start boiling up inside her. Though, she honestly wasn't sure if it was because of the fact that she knew that her whole night with Blaine had only been a way to get her out of the apartment or because of the sheer fact that Artie was actually getting involved with some girl. Tina finally met Artie's eyes with her own and she let out a deep sigh, her nostrils flaring as she glared fiercely at him and tried to think of how she was going to talk. She raised a finger and pointed at the naked girl. She had no idea who she was, but she did /not/ want to know her in the least. "She's leaving." Her words were straight and to the point. "I will talk to you when she's gone." Her tone of voice was absolutely deadly as she spun on her heel and left the room, slamming the door shut behind her as she moved to her room.
Artie winced awkwardly as his eyes met her fiery ones, her whole body looking a ticking bomb, signaling for everyone to get away or stop it before it's too late. He ducked his head down in humiliation, nodding slightly at her request - more like commando - and waited for her exit before he pushed himself to the edge of the bed to get their clothes. "I'm sorry, I didn't know she'd be home that soon," he sighed as he bent down to get some of the clothes they had thrown off. "Why didn't you just let her watch?" a genuinely curious Vanessa asked. His upper body raised from the bending position, glaring at her weirdly. "Because she's my best friend and my ex, and I'm not really into having an extra pair of eyes at us," he scoffed, shaking his head as he got dressed. "But yeah, you should probs leave. I'll see ya at school?" The redhead came over to give him a quick peck on the cheek as she made her way out of the apartment. With a sigh, Artie carefully slid into his wheelchair and rolled over to Tina's room. He carefully knocked on the door before opening up, ready to face whatever she had planned on throwing at him. "Hey..."
Tina sat on her bed, arms crossed tightly over her chest as she tried to let her anger fade away. When she heard the eventual knock at the door followed by the object of her anger rolling into the room, she simply narrowed her eyes at him at first. Tina moved to get up, not breaking her icy attitude towards him. "Let's get one thing straight. If you're going to go sleep with your little film school girls, do /not/ bring them here. I'm not comfortable with it and I'm sure you could find some other place to do them." She took in a deep breath. "And if I catch you doing it again, things will be much, /much/ worse next time." Tina turned her back on Artie and retreated to her bed, sitting down on it. "You can leave now."
Artie opened his mouth to speak again, but was quickly interrupted by the cold, sharp voice of his roommate piercing right into his soul. Feeling defeated and still as humiliated as ever, he nodded with a couple sighs. "In my defense..." he started off, not sure if he should've been speaking at all at this point, "you were supposed to be out all night." He furrowed his brows as he straightened himself up a bit. "Actually..." He rolled closer to her once she had taken a seat on her bed, his brows furrowed in both confusion and annoyance. "This is my apartment, and this occurred in my room and I never allowed you inside my sacred place. I'm sorry you're uncomfortable with the fact that I am sexually active, but as you may have realized, I have been since sophomore year and I don't plan on stopping now, regardless of location. You were out for a couple hours, meaning that I had the apartment to myself which also means that I have the freedom to do whatever the hell I want." The more defense he felt for himself, the less he cared about the fact that Tina had witnessed a couple of seconds of him doing the deed with another girl. "I can promise you that I'll regard all sexual activity when we're both under the same roof, but I cannot make any exceptions when you're supposedly on the other side of town with your friends. I have the rights to this place too, and if I recall, I was the one who invited you to stay and I still have paid most of the rent, so yes, things might get worse next time -- because next time, you might not have a roof to live under." Shaking his head in anger, he made a swift turn and exited her room, only to go straight to his.
Tina hadn't been expecting an argument back from Artie in the least. Really, she was kind of expecting for him to just take her words for what they were, accept that he was in the wrong, and leave her room. But as more and more defensive words came out of his mouth, she learned how wrong she was. She looked at him with eyes widened in shock and her mouth slightly hanging open. And, all at once, she was reminded of how this wasn't the same Artie as years ago, just like she wasn't the same Tina. This Artie had a backbone, he didn't just take it. And, at the time, it wasn't a pleasant reminder for her. And she felt sick in her stomach because she realized that Artie had actually made legitimate points deep down. She scowled slightly as he left the room. Huffing, she got up and stomped to the door to close it behind him. She then flopped down on the bed and laid there, a continuous glare on her face. She almost felt more anger towards the actual girl, but she quickly dismissed the thought, realizing it implied something that was the last thing she wanted to ever think about, especially right now. She groaned as she grabbed one of her pillows and buried her face in it.
Artie pushed himself back on the mess that was his bed again, lying flatly as he stared at the ceiling, wanting to feel the satisfaction of being right - and even though he knew he was, he still couldn't help but feel slightly bad for Tina. He couldn't quite catch onto what it was, and for all he knew, it could've been just the little guilt trip he put on himself whenever they had an argument. Both knowing how stubborn they are, it wouldn't solve anytime soon until something came along. They were meant to be frenemies after all, he thought. He let out a big sigh, wondering what Tina was thinking right now, and whether they'd even talk when they both came out of their respective rooms.
Yeah, he just wanted to check if you could make it in time. I have this film project I need to work on this weekend, so I’ll probably be at the school getting some stuff done.
Anyway, Blaine’s been calling for you this past hour, you should probably check your phone. Think he said something about some show thingy he wanted to take you to this weekend.
Well, I could tell you, but I don’t know if you’d like it. But!! You told me once you’d be supportive of my choices regardless of what level of craziness they reached.
