it is odd for tris prior to see someone whose outward appearance does not make it obvious which faction they belonged to. it was a rare opportunity these days, getting out of the dauntless compound -- but after the initiations of that day, she needed it. this time, she would make no attempt to go to erudite again. she just walked -- on occasion, she jogged; at least, that is until she saw jennifer jareau. from her clothes, she could not quite tell which faction she belonged to -- but if she had to guess -- maybe candor? no -- not candor -- hmm . . . either way, she looked lost. the divergent's brows furrow. " ----- can i ask you something?" the question comes out in a quieter tone than what is truly meant, but it is still loud enough for him to hear. tris looks from his shoulders, down to her hands, and then back to his face. in abnegation, asking these types of questions would be highly frowned upon. months ago, she would have cared more about that. now, she cannot bring herself to. she wants to know what lies below the shirt, unveil a mystery about four -- what was his tattoo?
