She was treading water now, she was lucky she wasn't paralyzed with fear at this point. They were going to die in here unless she thought of a way to get out. She had to remember, but she felt like her brain was running on empty. Which wasn't helping that they were getting closer to the top.
Then it hit her. She stripped off her jacket, leaving her in a tank top. She took a deep breath and swam to the bottom of the tank, stuffing it in the pipe dispensing the water. It stopped and she came back up.
Just in time for them to be put out in the ocean. The waves crashing hard on the rocks, the spray covering her in icy cold water. She was gripping the rock tight, but the waves were trying to suck her in.
"I don't know what to do!" She shouted over the roaring of the waves. "I can't get up Tobias!"

Does anyone want to start something?
Tris set her shoulders and led him into The Pit for training.
It was over hours later and Tris hadn’t gotten beaten up today. Her knuckles however were bruised and bleeding from the punching bag. She’d caught Fitz. “Dinner, and then everyone is staying in there before the...
Tris wiped a bit of the blood on her jeans and pressed them there. She needed to stop the bleeding. As they walked, no one even questioned him with her. At dinner her friends looked at him curiously.
"Christina, Will, this is Fitz. He's a late transfer to Dauntless. Apparently stuff like that actually happens now." She said, and that seemed to satisfy them both. "Eat.." She whispered to him. "It isn't poisoned." She whispered.
"Good morning," he replies, getting a cup from the cupboard to have some coffee. "How’d you sleep the rest of the night?"
Tris smiled softly. “I slept well. Better when you came back to bed, but still okay.” She said softly. She set Jeremy in his chair before walking over and wrapping her arms around him. “Thank you Tobias.” She said softly.
Tris looked around, wide hazel eyes seeing the birds. She had to do this without using what being Divergent gave her. They had to get through this the real way. She felt his hand slip into hers and she looked over at him. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them...
After a few moments, the scene changed. They were now both in a small glass container. She would have thought they were safe, if she couldn't feel the water rising up around them. Drowning. That's another one of her fears. In a simulation, she would usually use being Divergent to break the glass. She couldn't though, she needed to do this the right way. If only she could think of what the right thing was.
The water was now almost to Tris's hips and she was frozen. "Tobias..I can't remember. I can't think of what I need to do." She said, looking around as the water rose to her hips. She hid her shaking hands. She wasn't the only one at risk here. He was too.
"Who did this to you?"
Tris dabbed at her split lip, wincing a bit as she brushed the large bruise on her cheek. She shook her head. “No one. I’m fine.” She said quietly.
"What Tobias? I’m okay I promise." She said softly, pulling her hair back.
"I know," he said, coming up to stand right next to her. "But what happened?"
Tris looked up at him and heaved a sigh. "I got into a fight. That's all. I'm okay though. Really." She said softly, big hazel eyes meeting his.
"Why are you pointing that gun at me?"
"You aren’t real."
Tris’s eyes went wide. “Yes I am real, Tobias look at me. I’m real!” She said, hiding her fear.
"No you aren’t." Four shut his eyes trying not to see. It was fake, it was all fake. She wasn’t real, it was all an illusion. "It’s just a simulation." He muttered the words to himself trying to convince himself of it.
Tris walked over to him slowly, and pried the gun from his hand. "Tobias I'm real. I'm not a simulation, I'm really here." She said, tossing the gun away. "Look at me. I'm here." She said softly, her voice both gentle but held a firm quality.
Tris took a deep breath and nodded. “Yes I’m sure I want to do this. You let me in to see your fears, now it’s my turn to show you. I want to show you.” She said, her voice soft but held a firm confidence in it. “I trust that I can show you these.” She said softly, looking...

She felt his hand slip into hers and she looked over at him. She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again. She looked up at him and stood up.
"A gun. A gun has to be somewhere around here. This..This is about me being powerless." She said, pulling him along quickly as she ran, her eyes scanning the ground for the gun. She saw it a dove for it. She came up with it and began to shoot the birds, letting the power slowly move through her.
"Who did this to you?"

"Good morning, sorry I’m late!"
"I’m not late am I?"
"I don’t think we’ve met before…"

”I’m sure. I promised I’d take the next one, and I will. Go back to sleep, you need it,” he tells her, and watches to make sure she actually lays back down. He walks into the nursery, and goes to Jeremy first, who is crying a lot.
Tris finally gave in and curled back up in bed. It’s lonely without him while she sleeps. She actually rolled to his side of the bed, laying in the warmth and the scent of him clinging to the sheets. The bed has learned the form of his body, and she felt so tiny in the impression of him.
He picks the small baby up, barely feeling his weight in his muscled arms. He wonders how something so tiny and dependent on him will someday be bigger ans stronger than him. He almost can’t imagine it. He feeds and burps the baby, then lays him back down to sleep, which he always drifts off to easily.Â
Tris was sleeping soundly, curled up on his side of the bed. She never imagined she’d be able to have a normal life with him, but she was glad she’d gotten the chance. She loved him so much, and now they had two beautiful children. She was content.
Tobias checks on Macie, and she is also asleep, with no sign of waking up soon. He watches them for a minute before leaving. “This is my family,” he thinks happily, before crawling back into bed with Tris.
Tris’s eyes fluttered open the next morning and she found herself curled up against Tobias. She sat up and climbed out of bed. She could hear Jeremy gurgling contently in his crib while Macie babbled to him. She pushed open the door and got Macie up. “Go get Da baby, and bring him to the kitchen.” She said softly. The little girl ran off with a giggle. Tris picked up Jeremy and made her way to the kitchen.
Tobias wakes up to a pair of bright hazel eyes in front of him, but this time they aren’t Tris’. They’re Macie’s, who is sitting on her dad’s tummy and pounding on his chest lightly. “Wake up!” she squeals with a giggle. She jumps off the bed and runs back to wherever Tris is, leaving Tobias to wipe his eyes and reluctantly get out of bed.
When Macie got back into the kitchen, Tris was fixing breakfast. She already had the coffee pot on. She was still in her sleeping pants and her tanktop. Her blonde hair sleep mussed as it fell over her shoulders. “Macie, where’s daddy at?” She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I’m coming," Four says groggily, walking like a zombie into the kitchen. "She woke me up so politely," he says, not even trying hard enough to be sarcastic.Â
Tris walked over to him and ran a thumb over his cheek. She turned to Macie. "Honey you've got to be nice to daddy in the morning. You remember how I taught you to wake him up?" She asked. The little girl looked up from her pancakes and nodded, hazel eyes bright.
She laughed before turning back to him. "Good morning Tobias." She said softly.

You're Cute When You're Jealous | divergentxtris | CLOSED
Tobias didn’t much enjoy this cruise so far. He preferred the solitude of the Dauntless Compound, but those days were long gone. Tris was grumpy the whole time, claiming how his eyes were on all the other girls and what not, which was definitely not true. He considered himself a faithful guy. When he saw her glaring at him with a profound frown, he nudged her side with his elbow, glancing down at her.
"Is there a problem, Tris?"
Tris had been thoroughly irritated for most of the cruise. She was enjoying the sun, and the smell of the salty ocean. The problem right now was Tobias. She'd watched him a bit far off earlier while he flitted with some pretty, tan, blonde girl. She was flirting right back too. She couldn't help but glare at him now, all she could picture was him and the other girl. She looked up and frowned again when he nudged her. She was stubborn, and she shifted a bit away from him. Of course she was jealous, she had every reason to be. Every girl here had a hungry eye on him, and she could see why. She just hated that he seemed like he was going along with it. At least from her view.
"No. No problems here." She said cooly, pushing her hair back off her shoulders.
