Χθες βράδυ ονειρεύτηκα ότι ξεκινήσαμε μαζί να βρούμε τις πηγές του ποταμού. Ένας γέρος μας οδηγούσε. Όσο προχωρούσαμε, το ποτάμι μίκραινε και έσπαγε σε χίλια μικρά ρυάκια... Κάποια στιγμή, ψηλά, κάτω από τις χιονισμένες κορφές, ο γέρος μας έδειξε ένα κομμάτι γης από άγριο χορτάρι. Κάθε φύλλο χόρτου κρατούσε μικρές σταγόνες δροσιάς που έπεφταν κάθε τόσο στο μαλακό χώμα. Αυτό το λιβάδι, είπε ο γέρος, είναι οι πηγές του ποταμού. Άπλωσες το χέρι σου στο υγρό χόρτο κι όταν το σήκωσες λίγες σταγόνες κύλησαν, και έσταξαν σα δάκρυα πάνω στη γη...
