Who would gift someone a stone? ...Although, he supposes it's probably much more than a simple, ordinary rock. In that case, searching for any old thing won’t do, but there’s so much to be discovered around here that surely they can find something of interest!

While there is an unfortunately large chance that Lan Zhan will deny him ( or so he thinks, at least ), the prospect of getting to drag him literally anywhere else is almost too much to bear. Whatever Lan Zhan is concerned about showing on his face, quite frankly, does notーit’s the same stern expression as ever to Wei Wuxian.
The laozu nearly bounces off of the ground at the comment of muddy shores. Does this meanー? The mention of his not-so-trusty donkey confirms things, and the words burst from his mouth without hesitation after that.
“ Little Apple! What a great idea! Surely he’ll enjoy a bit of time out. I’ll bet he misses having me on board! ” ( He most certainly does not. )
With no further time to waste, and not wanting to give Lan Zhan a single second in order to change his mind, Wei Wuxian grabs at his arm and robe to pull him along. “ Come on, come on, let’s go! ”
Who isn’t sassing him these days.

His form expands as he breathes in deep and stretches, allowing himself to be patted. The comment makes no difference, and he simply flops onto his side. If he is to perish, he must perish.
The utter lack of reaction is to be expected; this god must feel no threat at all, even from the yiling laozu. Wei Wuxian can only laugh, and continue to pat the creature form. Sure, it may not be their own crops, but there is plenty of wildlife to forage and hunt to last them a while whilst things grow back.

He is at peace, knowing he has devoured it all. He hiccups, after eating too much, then stares at the other expectantly.
The hiccup is rather cute, and the laozu reaches out to pat the bunny on the head almost as if in congratulations. “ Since we have no crops left, I suppose we’ll have to cook you for supper, won’t we? ”

He is, indeed, ingesting everything his small paws can obtain. He will leave nothing behind.
Ohh, look at him go! Actually, ahーhe worked hard to grow that food...well, he can always grow more, but everyone is surely going to blame him for its disappearance.
