I recently planted lavender in my little garden at school and it's finally starting to bloom! The scent is just heavenly, and now I'm thinking about baking a batch of lemon-lavender shortbread cookies as one of our last class projects. I'm hoping to find a few brave, wonderful souls to be our official taste-testing guests next week... Would anyone happen to have some extra time and an appetite for something sweet?

It would be a phenomenal experience, but it would also take me away from home for two months. Away from you. And before you accuse me of being even more dramatic than I normally am, I hear how ridiculously romantic that sounded the second I wrote it. But still. Two months is a long time when I’ve gotten very used to always having you by my side.

Okay, yeah, I get that. And don't get me wrong, going two whole months without waking up beside you sounds genuinely awful. At the same time, though, you better damn well know by now that I'm not going anywhere. I'm still gonna be waiting right here for you when you get back. Besides, you think I won't be facetiming you almost every day so I can still see your beautiful face? I say almost just 'cause you'll probably be too busy being a star some of those days. Not to mention, I'm absolutely taking at least one trip down to wherever you are so we can spend some time together and I can see you perform. Ultimately, though... it's your call, babe, and I'm backing you no matter what. I just don't wanna be the reason you ever hold yourself back from something you really want.

So, plot twist: an old Broadway director I worked with on The Book of Mormon emailed me because apparently the lead on the national tour for Phantom of the Opera had to step away unexpectedly, and now they want me to come in for a limited run. Which sounds glamorous and exciting until you realize it has led to me sitting at my kitchen table, staring into the abyss of my coffee like it personally offended me. Theatre brain says yes. Who cares if it's living out of a suitcase for the next two months? The rest of me is significantly less sure. I finally built a life here that actually feels stable and good and mine. If anyone needs me, I’ll be overthinking professionally for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, you could say that I am. Horror is my niche. Not that it's really niche, but you know what I mean. Weapons and Sinners are a couple from the last year that I really liked. FNAF 2 wasn't bad, I liked the first one better though. Heart Eyes killer and motive reveal pissed me off, so I don't recommend that one, but that could just be me. Scream VI obviously since I think it was at least better than 7. That's all off the top of my head from the last few years at least.

Yeah, see, I haven't seen pretty much any of these, so I think I need to do a bit of a binge. Especially that Weapons one. Don't know much about it except that the one creepy old lady's in it, but that's enough to make me curious what it's about. Again, don't really know much about it, but I might have to watch Heart Eyes too just because I remember seeing some trailers for it and the main guy in it is hot.

I feel like I'm not the right person to ask when it comes to a date night movie, but isn't Wuthering Heights out now? I feel like from what little I know of Kurt that would be right up his alley. Or if you've both seen Ready Or Not, the sequel is coming out in a couple of weeks and I think it's gonna be good.

You're more a horror buff mostly, huh? I know Scream 7 wasn't up to snuff for you, but anything else stick out to you these last few years?

Well, I hate to say it, but I really do think Scream 7 was the worst one in the whole franchise so far. Don't get me wrong, the movie itself was actually pretty good throughout, but that killer and motive reveal? I'm with the majority on this one, it was just not really on the same level as the ones before it. I can't really say why without spoiling who the killers are, but yeah just take my word for it. And if you still wanna see it, save your money and wait for streaming. Majorly disappointed.

Safe to say my feedback was pretty great for the most part. And it better have been since this town are the ones that selected 'em. Anyway, my V-Day was pretty damn great all things considered. I had my man, a bomb dinner, and a prompt return home where we practically didn't leave the bedroom for the rest of the night and I'll leave it at that for your sake, Had.

Would it be totally cliche to request something like Love Story by Taylor Swift? Though really, I think the song Today Was A Fairytale from that movie Valentine's Day is really one of her best love songs. Also Jump Then Fall. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of her older stuff. A Thousand Years by Christina Perri is also another great one or Lucky by Colbie Caillat! Sorry, I'm probably overwhelming you, but really there's so many great ones to choose from, so this is kind of a hard choice for me.

How do you show affection?

I'm all about the physical touch. Not just in that way, so get your minds out of the gutter and give me a little more credit than that. But in things like holding my person's hand, putting my hand on the small of their back, brushing my fingers through their hair, hugging and holding them from behind. Things like that, too.

Do you think age differences in relationships are a big deal?

For me, personally? Nah, not really. Let me be totally clear, though, I mean that in the 'we're all legal adults doing legal adult things' way where we can be with with whoever we want because it's legal. Obviously I'm not holding that opinion for anything done before the big 2-1. But yeah... I don't want to say the whole 'age is just a number' cliche, but... it really pretty much is for me. Now, I might start raising my eyebrow a little if it's someone so much older than me they could be my dad or mom, but even then... some of those older people are just super hot and I refuse to feel bad for thinking they can get it.

Do you get jealous in a relationship? Do you get protective easily?

Nothing too crazy, I don't think, but I'm also a guy with an incredibly talented, amazingly gorgeous boyfriend and I'm still human, so do I get a little pouty when I see other dudes recognize that too and shoot their shot? Yeah. But hey, you gotta have that trust and I trust him completely to come kiss that pout right off my face afterwards.

As for being protective? Yeah, for sure. But, at the same time, Kurt's a badass in his own right and if he wants to handle his own shit, I know he can.
