He was only trying to keep him out of danger. But he couldn’t be Cat Noir and Adrien at the same time. It had been difficult during the Simon Says incident. He hoped his friend trusted him enough in this form to know that he was fine. He was jumping into battle, but it was the usual for him.

“Last I saw of him was around the time the akuma came in.” he answered. “I saw him run off somewhere and haven’t seen him since.” he hoped he’d buy it. Unless he wanted to reveal his identity to his friend and that wasn’t happening.But he could see he was worried. “Just trust me that he’s safe.” he said. “He does seem like the kind of guy who could handle himself in these situations.” that was the truth in a way.

“Now if you’ll excuse me, got an akuma to fight.” he reminded and was ready to jump back in action. His Lady needed him.

Nino’s eyes narrowed and his weight shifted anxiously from one foot to another. He trusted Cat Noir to save Paris, of course. But it wasn’t like the dude knew Adrien particularly well. He had no idea how important he was. 

“Yeah.” Nino’s shoulders slumped in defeat. 

“Yeah I trust you. Just do me a favour and look for him when you’re donsies with whatever is currently ruining everything.” 

When Cat Noir leaped out of sight and hopefully out of hearing, Nino groaned. His head darted back and forth as he searched for a decent spot. Finding none, he nodded silently, concluding that getting away from the action was second best. Anyway, if he was constantly on the move, he may run into a certain best-bro.

🌹 Rose was filled with glee to see her friend happy “If it wasn’t for you, I would have  not now about this place” Rose always wants to make her friends happy. even if she wasn’t doing much for herself in the terms of being happy “The school is buzzing, maybe your dream will come true” she said.

Rose had super come through for him and Nino wanted to do the same for her. Not to mention that it was rare to get the chance to chill with someone so kind. But the time to chill wasn’t that moment and Nino slung his bag over his shoulder and tilted his head towards the door.

“We should probs get to class, huh? I don’t want to make it up to you by getting you detention.”

[ As the friends who have seen my Adrien blog will know, things have been pretty crazy for me and replies have slowed down. I don’t know when they’ll pick back up but it may be a while. I’m not on hiatus on this blog like I am on Adrien but I’ll probably be a lot more selective and stuff will come out slower. Even if we don’t have an in-depth thread, I’m always down for memes.
