I can't believe there are nuts out there who think Tea Leoni has more presence than Gillian Anderson. This is absolutely laughable, Gillian had a HUGE impact on popular culture due to her PRESENCE as Dana Scully, if Tea Leoni had attempted that role, The X Files would have been cancelled after one season because not only is she a terrible actress but she has NO presence onscreen nor in pop culture. She is not famous, just born privileged.

Off screen I think Téa comes across as an extremely anxious person trying to overcompensate for her anxiety with wit and the appearance of confidence, so much that it rubs a lot of people the wrong way. G is a little prickly, she can be intense, a little bit of a bully and she seems to have an attitude of impress me or I don’t care. D has a gentle, calming and charming presence that is unmatched. On screen Téa works in black comedies like Flirting with Disaster. D is better when he can use his dry sense of humor over the goofier type comedy. G can truly transform herself, she is in a different league of acting.
