The girl was never given a normal childhood when she was younger. Her parents often abused her for the most trivial things, and to this very day, it still haunts her. They both worked mediocre jobs, and the daily task of making ends meet was quite the struggle. They often blamed Yuki when things would get tough, and what was even worse was that her father would molest her for the fact that he was stuck in a dead end marriage. Of course, the only person who knows about that is Yuki and her father. Things were tough for her, and she would feel like giving up every single day up until the new neighbors moved in.
Alec Beaumont was his name. She fell in love with him the moment her eyes set on him. She found herself almost jubilant to finally have someone to play with, and thatâs the way it was between them ever since. Even with her newfound joy however, that didnât change the way her life at home ran. The abuse never stopped. As she got older and her bond with Alec deepened, she would many times get punished for simply having feelings for him, and spending time with the boy. Her father especially disapproved, and finally after she came home late one night after spending time with Alec, that was it. Right after she walked in the house, they forced her down into the basement, and that was the last time for over a month that she would see daylight.
After a night of painful burns, intense punches, and dreadful kicks (all of which went without the decency of food or water) she felt as though every bone in her body had been broken to the point of no return. Her parents had gone out for work the next day, and to her surprise, Alec had broke in to find her as he became aware of their deception (see bio for details). All she could hear were his promises of taking her away, and thatâs exactly what he did. After a visit to the hospital that had been paid for by Alecâs father, they began their lives on the road. This went on for a year, and they went wherever the road took them before they finally ended up in Los Angeles, California. Despite the fact that she was far away from her parents (whom were given a life sentence after being reported by Alec) the trauma of being home never truly left. There were many nights spent with nightmares and she would end up refusing to sleep which made her develop insomnia. She soon turned to alcohol abuse, which had been the last straw for Alec. He refused to see her life spiral downward more than it already had. He checked her in to L.A Private Regional Hospital, in hopes that she would get better.
âłÂ DON'T BE SURPRISED, WHEN I LET YOU DOWN:
Yuki is incredibly compassionate and caring. She easily empathizes for others, and does her best to see to it that the people she cares for are okay. However, she is untrusting towards those who give the slightest reason to do so. It is difficult to get past her broken exterior, but the end result is rewarding, as she is a great friend.
âłÂ YOU SURE YOU WANNA BE ALONE? THEY SAY THIS HOUSE IS HAUNTED:
ALEC BEAUMONTâ Alec had been there since day one. There is not a single person in the world that she trusts more than this boy, and sheâd do just about anything for him, including getting better. She loves him, and always has, but she feels as though she isnât good enough for him, because according to her parents, she wasnât good enough for anyone.
TOBIAS WINSTONâ Tobiasâ kindness and care meshed well with her own. It took a while to build up to the friendship, but they are extremely close now and often spend time in the attic with Beauregard together.
MOIRA OâHARAâ Moira had latched on to Yuki quickly.  Even if the ghost has a short fuse, the girl knows how to walk around them by avoiding touchy subjects.  She enjoys her company, and even if Moira is technically the maid still, sheâll do what she can to assist as she is unaware of her younger self, and sees her as an older woman.
