Well, with Tumblr’s new guidelines and the fact that they completely screwed over previously flagged accounts (even tho mine was flagged wrongfully, anywho—), I have decided to turn THAT blog (sadly, this was my first and my most followed 🙃) into an archive for all of my previous DL content.

The NEW dlscenarios is still under that name and will be the multi fandom one I had turned the first one into only 12 hours ago. Please, go follow or boost that new account.

Attention Content Creators

There’s a new Situation and because of this Situation I can’t even tag anyone to spread the word. I was recently informed that as of about 18 hrs ago at this point (Jan 1st, 1pm EST) NO NEW POSTS are showing up in ANY tag search on ANY browser/app. I’ve checked this to confirm.

Myself and many others have noticed that posts have been taking a very long time to show up in tags these past fews days (my last post took about 5 hrs). Yesterday around 2pm EST staff reported they were aware of the issue and were working on a fix. This new development appears to have started around 7pm EST, which leads me to believe it’s a result of the “fix” that’s currently in progress. Unfortunately this has made the already bad situation impossibly worse in the meantime.

I have no idea how long this will be an issue but you may want to hold off on posting any new content until it’s sorted out.

with the tags and search officially being completely broken on all platforms (no new posts are showing up in them anymore), now feels like a good time to remind everyone that the only way to help creators is to reblog their stuff. even before the tags were busted most people found new creators through their content being rebloged onto their dash, and now, at least for the time being, that will be the Only way to find and spread things.

Fast reblog is a thing, you dont have to leave comments, you dont have to leave tags, just reblog stuff if you want to keep seeing new content being posted to this site.

and as a final note, with this change likes are officially completely pointless for content creators. up till now they served to boost a posts placement in the tag searches (a post tagged #girl with 40 likes would show up higher in the search than a post tagged #girl with only 10 likes,)

Um... I’m new here so I’m not exactly sure of the rules...

maybe Ayato, Laito, Subaru, Shu, Yuma, and Shin...

their lover/wife just successfully gave birth to their first child (a daughter) and lover/wife is, understandably, wiped out and fast asleep; meaning he is alone with and holding his brand new babygirl for the first time.

Maybe just headcannons of him letting his guard down a little in front of his new little one and swears to protect her? Either aloud or to himself? Bonus if little one grabs hold of his finger or smiles in the middle of him talking to her and it surprises him in a shocked but happy way ☺️

D/N = Daughter’s Name

Shu:

- This man ALWAYS wanted a daughter.

- Seeing his partner with their little girl melted his undead heart.

- As soon as he gets to hold her, Shu couldn’t help but smile (although a little nervous looking due to him not wanting to drop the baby) and moved his free hand to offer his finger to the baby’s open, gloved hand.

- “God, you’re adorable D/N. Daddy’s always gonna be here for you.” He’d whisper before placing a gentle kiss to the newborn’s head.

Laito:

- He never stopped smiling starting the very SECOND his daughter was born.

- As he laid in the bed next to his sleeping partner, he looked down at his baby lovingly.

- After smothering his daughter’s tiny face with kisses, he’d snuggle her and whisper how he’ll never leave his babygirl’s side. And how he’d kill anyone that even thought about hurting his princess.

Ayato:

- He’d be the dad to rant to his newborn. About anything.

- Ayato would also joke about how “mommy and daddy should give you a little brother or sister soon, huh?”

- He’d feel confused at the feeling of his daughter’s tiny hand holding onto his finger before that expression turns into one of joy, Ayato attempting to hold back tears.

Subaru:

- Honestly, he’d be too scared to hold his baby the same day she was born. He thought she’d be terrified of him her entire life.

- But then, when the baby reached out wrapped her little fingers around his pinky as Subaru watched over her in the bassinet, his fears seemed to melt.

- It was at that very moment that Subaru promised to protect her until the day he dies. No one will EVER hurt his daughter while he’s around.

Yuma:

- He’d be laughing and playing with the newborn when she’d attempt to hold onto his sleeve.

- Once Yuma noticed this, he’d playfully ask “You know that daddy’s got you back, huh honey?”

- He swears she nodded in response.

Shin:

- The second he gets to hold D/N, Shin would not shut up about how the baby’s daddy and uncle will kill anyone that dares to mess with his family.

- Once the baby gave a tired smile to her father’s words, it was over for Shin.

- She was just born, but D/N already had Shin wrapped around her little finger.

a note to all the lovely writers out there, you don't have to post every single day to keep your followers entertained and it's okay if you don't, there's no need to be so hard on yourself. if you ever started to feel like writing feels like a job instead of a happy hobby for you, remember to step back and take a breather. you don't have to push yourself everyday. you're not obliged to do so, you're not a machine. remember to take breaks <333

and for all the lovely readers, please also understand that not every writer has the capacity to just publish fics everyday. they're not machines, they have lives outside this app too and deal with so many things like everyone. please do not rush them on making content, wouldn't it be better if the content they create is something they actually love and proud of?

What would Shu’s reaction be if his s/o was skilled with fire (like fire magic)? Would he fear her, or would she help him with his fear of fire or would he be like ‘no bitch, out my house, ya nasty’?

Shu:

- Well…his brother is also skilled with fire so it wouldn’t really be fair to throw out his LOVER.

- I feel like Shu he would slightly distance himself from his s/o until they decided to help him get over his fear.

- Although it wouldn’t really help the ptsd, his s/o being able to control the fire and the damage it can do does help him feel a little bit better around it.

- Over time, he will get less and less scared of fire. Solely thanks to his s/o and their ability.

Basically, reader takes Yui's place at the end of the first game/season (so like reader has Cordelia's heart, Cordelia took over and reader stabbed themself with the knife. You get it.)

While the other Sakamakis were either watching Reiji find a way to get rid of Cordelia or off doing something else, perhaps dealing with Richter or disposing of the silver knife you had used just minutes ago, Shu knelt by your side. You laid on the couch, body too pale for a living human.

The eldest Sakamaki studied your face, hoping to see any sign of you breathing. Sighing, he tore his eyes away from you.

Not even a second later, Reiji returned with a potion. Shu took the liberty to help you drink it. After showing no signs of waking up, his brothers gave up hope and left yet again.

Once alone with you for the second time, Shu held your cold hand and, before he could even comprehend it, began to rant to your body.

“You can’t keep scaring us like this,” he paused to glance over at you, “Y’know, I didn’t think vampires could love humans until you came here. Guess if you ever wake up, I’ll have to take you out sometime.”

He held your hand closer to his lips placed a soft kiss onto the knuckle, then placed another on the back of your wrist.

The blonde vampire jumped slightly when he felt you weakly grab at the sleeve of his cardigan. His widened blue eyes shifted to your face, you tilted your head to face him, E/C eyes slowly opening to meet his.

“Well that’s not what I expected to hear after nearly dying.” You joked, smiling, “But just so you know, I love you too.”

Shu let out again a breathy chuckle before replying.

“What did I say about scaring me?”

These are just the last three fics I wrote. I appreciate the likes, believe me I do, but you have to understand. Likes do nothing for content creators. It’s the reblogs. Because that’s how you find shit on your dashboard. Through reblogs. Not likes. This isn’t twitter or tiktok or instagram. This is a website that’s run by the reblog system.

Reblogging helps content creators put their stuff out there. Why do you think so many people stopped writing fanfic and creating beautiful fanart and edits? It’s because they put in hours of work and don’t get nearly enough notes for their masterpieces. Yes we do this because we enjoy it but like...some validation won’t hurt. A boost of confidence here and there might be all someone needs to finish whatever thing they started and left.
