If there was one thing that Roxanne absolutely loved it was Halloween. It was a good reason to get sweets (both muggle and wizard), play pranks, watch scary movies and most importantly dress up. Each year Roxanne would pick someone or something to dress up as and this year was no exception. She had grabbed her cousin Dominique and decided that they would create the most perfect costume ever. Coming back into her room from her her closet Roxanne turned around giving the full effect of her costume. “So what do you think? Perfect right?” Roxanne asked Dominique as she waited eagerly for her reply.

“I mean, if we’re being c o m p l e t e l y honest, everything you wear is PERFECTION, Roxy, like if the dictionary asked me to define perfection, I’d probably tell the dictionary to look at you wearing anything.” Halloween was a wonderful time for her whole family, costume contests, even pumpkin carving together was always an adventure with a family so large & close, and Dominique loved every second of it. “I think you’re a lovely Gwenog Jones, you are going for Gwenog, right?? I’m so sorry if I’m wrong, I’m just not as spry as I was in my younger days,” Dom teased, but then a thought occurred. “Y’know, I bet you’d be able to find Gwenog Jones in the castle. That is if you’re going as her. Talk about a cool fucking Halloween twist, huh?”

Of course Fred wouldn’t admit it out loud, nor did he think he needed to with Dominique, but his spirits always seemed to lift a little higher every time she called him ‘loser.’ “EXCUSE mwah? Weak ass? First of all, this ass is smokin’ and you know it, and secondly did you know it’s physically impossible to breath quickly with your tongue sticking out like that?” Fred asked, pulling back his former offer of jellybeans, deciding they would be better kept in his food-pit (( stomach )). “Thank you. It’s beautiful isn’t it? What if we set off the Boggart Banger and just when they think all is said and done, we hit ‘em with your Sparkle Paint Bomb? That is… if your invention even works, Albus.” As stupid as it was -which was exactly why he did it- Fred liked to call Dominique by the names of different family members. Just to make sure their conversations never got too chummy. “Dude, I saw G-pa Wizzles in the owlry a few days ago. Biggest trip of my life. He was all young, and… It was so weird, but cool.”

Dominique easily laughed at his impression, because in all honesty, he was RIGHT. Especially when it came to her own family members -- the likelihood of Dominique even reporting a crime of someone she was LOYAL to was slim to none. Sticking her tongue out at him AGAIN while he talked, she had to mumble ( mostly to herself ), “smartass, thinks he knows everything.” In her normal speaking voice, “Did I say beautiful? I didn’t think I said beautiful. I can compromise on that, easily, if you mask the Sparkle Paint Bomb as a Boggart Banger. So that way, they’ll think it’s a boggart but be thankful when it’s just ... paint and sparkles..... that ... won’t come off ... with water ... or soap... or anything besides ... actually I didn’t figure out what it comes off with. I’ve got a patch of sparkle bomb on my arm, still.” Dominique reached over to flick Fred’s cheek at him calling her Albus, though that joke never got old. “I’m going to call you Fizzle now, Fizzle or Roxanne. Loser Fizzle. But? You mean Grandpa? He didn’t have wrinkles?”

They don’t even realize how beautiful you are, dirt and all, that’s fucking wild,” Dominique mused, a smile on her face because her comment wasn’t taken badly even though it was a bit of .... strange comment to say aloud to someone she’d never met before. “Well, I appreciate that my comment was taken as what it was, a compliment, it’s good to know I’ll be remembered by someone,” she said dramatically, sighing at the end of her sentence to punctuate her dramatics. “I’d love to though, I’m Dominique Weasley, great to meet you --  ...?”
