New minis and paint today!! A silver dragon; Alahazra, a sorcerer who looks like a teifling because of her horns and will be painted accordingly; Bathalian D’khul, who’s literally just an ilithid/mind flayer; Woody, a gnome or halfling fighter or rogue; and a beautiful brass bull!

I’ve gotten to the point I’m considering selling some of my figures, but idk how well it would go. I would have to figure out a lot of stuff, and I don’t know if people would really want them, especially since I can’t actually paint faces on the characters, and a lot of places do.

Skeleton Army - Progress

I found that my herb containers work well for painting minis :)

I started with the bone portion of my army and got them done! I had to go back and give some of them a second wash later cause I wasn’t happy with the initial wash but not bad for my first serious paint job.

So, inspired by this post I wanted to try my hand at making terrariums. I’ve always thought these things looked cool, but never had a chance at making one of my own. When I saw the post linked, I thought “What a neat idea, making terrariums a home for toys” but then I thought what if I made scenes with miniatures that I’ve painted for D&D. So then I did just that. 

This is my first terrarium, so it’s loose and rough and kinda simple, but I like it. I plan on making a lot more so hopefully each one will get better and better. I also didn’t paint all the miniatures that are featured in this one. My friend Ryan painted the big orc and I think my friend Nate painted the goblin. Also, photo cred to my wonderful girlfriend Kaitlynn.

I’ve got Skeletons to paint!

4 Skeleton archers and 3 Skeleton swordsman

My first ‘large’ batch painting. All Reaper minis. I will be painting these according to the instructions via the Reaper Introduction to Painting kit
