there's just something so wonderful and lovely to me about how Dan and Phil love their past selves as much as we do. Like they are so proud of them and don't put them down and just talk so kindly about them giving themselves credit for their creativity. And yeah they'll bant about how weird they are or if something was cringe but it's always in jest and above all they just have so much appreciation for those people who they used to be. And it's so refreshing and important to me<3

the fact that dan is such a lover...the fact that he loved even when it hurt...his heart always so full and so open and so gentle and now it doesn't have to hurt anymore and he can just breathe and be loved back is everything!!!

i think about dan saying in one of the heated rivalry reactions that if someone has a dream they shouldn’t have to forgo it or put it off and he’s RIGHT but god. he did it for so many years because he loved it and he loved working with phil and he loved us but it hurt. and thank god he left because he can be here now. on camera with phil and sharon stories with us and laughing with us and it doesn’t hurt anymore.
