Required to use Google Chrome for work, but that shitty "AI Mode" button in the corner of the search bar driving you crazy? Get rid of it!
Paste "chrome://flags" into your address bar
Search the flags for "AI Mode."
Find "AI Mode Omnibox Entrypoint" and disable it
(Tip via Mark Popham on Bluesky.)
AI disturbance overlays for those who don't have Ibis paint premium. found them on tiktok
how do you use these?
Put these on the top layer above everything, set layer to 'overlay' then adjust opacity. You can put it on whatever opacity you want but usually 30%+ is most effective.
The point is to obstruct the picture so AI can't read your image because AI counts every single pixel in your art
If that is the goal, it fails: glaze, as recommended it the comments, only aims to stop someone using your art to train a model specifically to copy you.
The "protected" art is just as vulnerable to being used in training for general purpose models, and is vulnerable to advances in the AI technology becoming able to read past it.
Historically, that will happen as soon as either a famous enough artist uses it, or it becomes popular enough to start getting in the way.
The main time it'll protect you is approximately the same as obscurity will.
