Figured I should make a pinned post so here it is :3
Hey! I'm Docteure, a 19 year old trans woman studying in Canada. Figured I should post a lil bit of info about me for anyone lurking on my blog.
About me
I am a transfem lesbian
I'm mixed (French and Sikh), I consider myself to be a POC but I do pass as white-ish sometimes so I benefit from white privilege sometimes
Mentally ill (Bipolar, OCD, GAD, GD)
Not really interested in engaging in discourse
Marxist humanist, active IRL
Qikiqtaboo, I love Qikiqtaaluk (ᕿᑭᖅᑖᓗᒃ) and studying the Canadian High Arctic and those who live there
Sex positive but don't really hornypost, no DNI for minors but scroll at your own risk
I speak English and French, I am learning Russian and have worked on some Inuktitut (specifically the South Qikiqtaaluk variety) in University
More Under Cut
Political Positions
Marxist Humanist, recommended readings provided later
Historical Materialist
While I am an immigrant in Canada, I was born in the imperial core and I am a settler living on land stolen from the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people, and thus I think it is exceptionally important for me and other settlers to understand our position within imperialism
I support Palestine, you should donate to UNRWA (https://www.unrwa.org/) or maybe another org is better but I've heard from Palestinian comrades that they're pretty good
Not a China, DPRK, or late-USSR bootlicker, stalinists fuck off
Marxist feminist, not a radical feminist, patriarchy isn't inherent to men, but is an institution to extract physical and sexual labor from women
I see a lot of "TMA/TME" and "transandro" discourse stuff on my feed from time to time, from my experiences in IRL queer communities, people are people, there are shitty trans women and great trans women and shitty trans men and great trans men, I don't think trans men are class enemies of trans women, I think this is a very reductive worldview, but I also see some harassment going on on this site and I don't think that is cool
I support sex workers, they are workers who have their interests aligned with the working class, I have engaged in sex work before myself
I don't think me or you having positions changes anything in the world, I am just putting this here so people can choose to block or follow me as they please
Fuck Modi, fuck hindu nationalists, fuck Zionism, fuck ultranationalism
I refuse to use terms like Narcissist, Borderline, Antisocial, or Psychopath as insults, this adds to the stigma around Cluster B disorders
I'm a vegetarian for a mix of moral, mental, and cultural/spiritual reasons, no I will not engage with you on this topic

This is far from a complete list, just some things that may explain some of my positions :3
I find an effective way to determine if someone is a true feminist or just a reactionary defending women's "sanctity" is if they oppose sex work but not the bourgeois institution of marriage.
The institution of marriage is effectively an even greater theft of women's labor, both sexually and for household labor, than sex work. A principled Marxist feminist calls for the end of the institution of marriage.
"Yet when the masses turn (as turn they will one day) and try to end the tyranny of centuries, not only the tyrants but all ‘civilisation’ holds up its hands in horror and clamours for ‘order’ to be restored. If a revolution carries high overhead expenses, most of them it inherits from the greed of reactionaries and the cowardice of the so-called moderates. Long before abolition the mischief had been done in the French colonies and it was not abolition but the refusal to abolish which had done it."
- C.L.R. James, The Black Jacobins
Idk just a random thought but the whole "born this way" stuff around sexuality/kink feels rather reductive. I feel like certain things like power or control can lead to kinks, but also to more hurtful sexual behaviors. Abuse doesn't come purely from a desire for power, but also from social conditions, and power and social conditions are of course deeply related. Even for kink, I think its important to realize that kinks can be morphed over time. I mean, in my own case, I am a sadist, and I am a sadist probably because of the lack of control that I felt when I faced bullying. It just feels disheartening to see people who engage in dialectical thinking fall for a very bioessentialist idea.
White Canadians will say all sorts of progressive talking points until someone who's south Asian shows up to a university and then it's all about protecting "Canadian values" and "they're cheating their way in" because clearly someone who isn't your white Canadian poster child isn't capable of intelligence (obvious sarcasm)

When I heard a noise downstairs, I put my hand under my bed for my creepy ass guy to lick, to confort me. Feeling brave and confident, I went downstairs to investigate. I saw my creepy man dead, head accidentally smacked against kitchen counter... I felt a chill go down my spine... Behind me.. A dog.
During the lifetime of great revolutionaries, the oppressing classes constantly hounded them, received their theories with the most savage malice, the most furious hatred and the most unscrupulous campaigns of lies and slander. After their death, attempts are made to convert them into harmless icons, to canonize them, so to say, and to hallow their names to a certain extent for the “consolation” of the oppressed classes and with the object of duping the latter, while at the same time robbing the revolutionary theory of its substance, blunting its revolutionary edge and vulgarizing it.
Where the bourgeois woman seeks only to establish juridical equality and to escape the confines of the home, the proletarian woman bears in addition all the burdens of her class exploitation and oppression. This is why, for the proletarian woman, there can be no genuine female emancipation under capitalism. It also makes clear why proletarian women have put aside their own emancipation for generations, to submerge it in class struggle. However, as we shall see, “submerging” (or liquidating) the women’s struggle into class struggle is not a requirement of revolutionary struggle-it is a product of left-wing sexism and the bourgeois morality in Marxism and, above all, a consequence of revisionism.
Whose class interests (excepting those of the bourgeoisie) are served by advocating the desirability of contractual marriage and the consequent perpetuation of the subjugation of women? If we look at its material basis, we find that proletarian anti-feminism is most characteristic of those strata of the proletariat whose wages are sufficient to maintain a family at an average working-class standard of living. In such strata, where wages are adequate, a woman whose labor power is privately appropriated is a real bargain, for the same services, if waged, would be totally out of reach of the men.

It's crazy to be white in america and think I have a bad life.
Should I kill myself? Don't worry, I'll detransition and try to take a CEO with me, I wouldn't let an opportunity like that go to waste.
I hope I can be reborn as a non-colonizer
