About: Leonard had always wanted to be a doctor. It had been the plan from day one. Go to school, get a degree, make a decent living doing decent things for halfway decent people. However, when his girlfriend fell pregnant, things stopped being so straightforward.

Married in a hurry and thrust headlong into fatherhood, Mccoy found himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, he loved his daughter more than words could say, on the other, he and Jocelyn couldn't be in a room alone for more than five minutes without screaming obscenities at one another. 

By the time Joanna turned five, Leonard had signed the divorce papers and denied the right to see his daughter more than twice a month. Shortly thereafter, he finished up his medical degree and joined Starfleet. The rest, as they say, is history.

3. Alternately, if I need to tag a trigger for you, or do something that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy, let me know and I will backtrack so hard we will literally go back in time. 

4. If I drop a thread or forget a reply, poke and prod me until I write it up. I’ll tell you if I’ve lost inspiration, and if that does happen, we can write something else up and start a new adventure. 

5. I ship mostly chemistry and am open to pretty much anything if it seems plausible, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Bones/Spock.
