We are two nights (and three sessions) deep into the new VtM V5 Chronicle, Gates to the North (a custom Chronicle by @silverdrein2 as Storyteller).
The premise is that until recently, Calgary (Canada) had no significant sect presence. Then several events unfolded:
A Camarilla coterie took over the airport a 7 month ago, which was reported to a major Camarilla city with transport accessibility (we chose Chicago).
Something happened in Vancouver; no one knows exactly what, but it seems the local werewolves have gone there? Maybe?
6 months ago, they sent a young (non-canonical) Ventrue to be the Prince.
Everyone in Chicago was surprised that both the coterie at the airport and the Prince are alive, so they sent more neonates (who should be able to handle things, but if they die, it would be a pity, but not too much). That's us.
What does it mean to "make the city Camarilla's"? No one really knows for sure. There will be no manual. We'll have to figure it out ourselves.

Anthony Byres - A Nosferatu streamer with a wonderful voice and a virtual avatar of an anime girl.
Simon Ashworth - A Tremere neuro-scientist who tried to find a way to stop his own hereditary neurodegenerative disease while alive, but ultimately found salvation not through science, but through Embrace. My character.
Anika - A Ravnos courier. Not actually part of the coterie, but the first local vampire we found, and also a player's character.
Jose Maria Diego Garcia Fernandez - A Malkavian surgeon, a source of a rich inner world and maximum introvert vibes.
Christian Lloyd - A Gangrel who was unexpectedly local during his mortal life, but has traveled everywhere after his Embrace. A former ranger.
