Anxiboygender is a xenogender for those who identify primarily as a boy/man (or with masculinity) but experience strong urges to express softness, cuteness, “femboy-like” qualities or playful/feminine aesthetics— such as wearing pink, dressing cute, or embodying gentle traits. These desires are often entangled with anxiety, fear, sadness, and pain caused by internalized transphobia and restrictive societal expectations of masculinity. An Anxiboygender person may wish to embrace softness, cuteness, or femme-coded aesthetics while still rejecting anything that associates them with girls or women (e.g., being called “princess,” “fem,” or “girly”). Their identity remains rooted in boyhood and masculinity, even as it explores gentle femininity or softness on its own terms. They may also feel deep envy toward cis femboys and other transmascs who can freely embody femme aesthetics without conflict. Anxiboygender represents a masculine identity intertwined with gentleness and softness, often shadowed by tension, longing, and the struggle for acceptance. While it is centered around people who experience anxiety, it is not limited to them. This xenogender can also be embraced by enby mascs who share these experiences!

this isn't even a mogai blog but... I've been wanting to "coin" this term for a while and worked out a funky flag for it so I'll just post it, y'know?
Presenting: boy+!
(Excuse the fact that the flag is a bit crusty/pixelated, I don't have the software or patience to fix it rn)
Boy+ is when you identify completely as a boy, plus additional genders. You don't feel partially boy, you aren't fluid, you are entirely a boy... plus more! Maybe you don't know specifically what that added something is, so boy+ is the best way to describe it. Or, maybe you have a lot of gender, but it all feels like it's simply additional while your main gender is Boy(/man/guy/male/etc). Just, Boy+. Boy, Bath, and Beyond. Y'know?
I don't know if there's already a term like it, but I couldn't find anything. I feel like there probably is somewhere and I was too impairment to find it... but, anyway! If you want to make other versions of this with other genders, go for it, I don't own the concept of a plus sign.
Lighthouse Masc
a term for when your gender is fluid but you always have a strong unwavering connection to masculinity.
This might be by having a masculine presentation or always wanting to be recognized as masculine regardless of what gender you identify as at the moment.
This can also be conceptualized as being fluid only between genders that are firmly connected to masculinity but not necessarily male (like azurgirl or solarian/phoebian nonbinary), or as masculinity being the static core of one's identity.

I coined this label because I couldn't find one that reflected how I feel, as all the "masculine + fluid" labels I have seen excluded woman or woman adjacent genders or conflated masculinity with being a man or being man-aligned.
I choose the name "Lighthouse Masc" because masculinity is the only certain solid part of this identity, so it's like a lighthouse in the middle of the (fluid) sea, it's a guide that you can always rely on.
I choose the colors based on ones used in flags of various masculine identities, but a more dark version so it looks like the sea at night.
One could also make a "fem" version of this, or with any other gender quality really, like xeninity. Template version here!
