One thing I notice in the film is that Grace and Rocky had always been connected by a line one way or another.

The first time they met it's because of the petrova line,

Then Rocky quite literally building a tunnel straight from Blip-a to Hail Mary, connecting the two with a line.

The third time was Grace coming back for Rocky and with his rope, reconnecting the line that they broke when they went their different ways.
