It’s not delusional to pick up on hints intentionally planted by writers, directors, actors, cinematographers, and other creatives involved in a project.

What is delusional, however, is to believe there’s an over-saturation of queer romances within mainstream media and a lack of platonic male friendship representation.

The fact that Byler is even controversial at all in the first place is a reason enough that it should happen.
