I didn’t fucking touch the loser, he like fell down or some shit like that” Finn said lying through his teeth as he slammed his fists down on the police receptionist’s desk in anger, “I bet you don’t treat Audax or Callidus members like this, you pigs are all the fucking same” Finn spat out as he grabbed his fine sheet and stuffed into his pocket, walking outside the station and breathing in the morning air as he closed his eyes to calm down. Finn hadn’t counted on the man he picked a fight with to be an off duty police officer, nor did he expect to wind up in lockup for the whole night yet again. Finally opening his eyes he turned around to start on his journey home but walked right into a fellow wolf “You fucking blind or just as dumb as you look? I was walking here” Finn growled out, crossing his arms in hopes it would stop him from lashing out, the last thing he needed was to get into a fight right in front of the police station.

Dolan prided himself in being able to mind his business and let his pack, for the most part, live free lives and do whatever the fuck they wanted. But it was always a morning routine of checking his texts and voice mails just to see that no one in his pack got themselves killed. He wasn’t very surprised to find out Finn got locked up, Dolan probably being the alpha that frequented and bailing and asking for favors from the station time and time again. This time was no different and he sweet talked the officer from just fining the beta and not pressing any charges. The sudden hit made Dolan, scoff a little, hand jutting out to grip onto Finn’s shoulder, not roughly but definitely with enough force to know that the pack alpha wasn’t playing around. “I came all this way to pick you up and that’s the thanks I get?” It was mostly a joke, Dolan letting go and patting Finn on the back, his arms crossing over his chest as he looked over the beta, trying to see if he was hurt. “Did you at least kick his ass?”

THE FAMILIARITY OF THE BAR washed over him as he stepped inside, a hand moving to rank through his hair before lifting a hand to wave at the bartender. thomas had spent plenty of time in lobos but he had always been a fan of how the club was in the hours before the music began to thump and the bodies crowded the building. ( one of the few places he actually enjoyed being quiet. ) a familiar faces caught his attention and an easy smile pulled at his feature’s, making his way over to his pack’s alpha. the bottle shook in his direction and thomas’ eyes moved to the label before arching a brow at dolan, “a toast? what are we toasting?” sliding himself onto the closest bar stool, he swiveled the seat to face dolan, an arm moving to settle on the bar, “not that i’m saying no, i’m just curious.” 

drinking aside, did dolan make his way to the bar the moment he sniffed the air and caught a whiff of one of his pack’s omegas? maybe. did he add a little speed when he discovered it was thomas? definitely. he gathered two glasses easily, soft clinking as he closed the distanced between the two and all three items in his grasp were set down, dolan standing right next to thomas with an immediate grin of his own. he was always surprised seeing the omega in the bar, this not being the first nor the seventh nor the millionth time he had encountered thomas, but he was happy- the biggest fuckin’ smile on his smug alpha face seeing thomas there. “to you-- to our pack-- for making me the luckiest alpha of them all.” he was always softer and affectionate and yeah, very flirty with his pack, but that was given. he didn’t like to hide his adoration for them.

Adair was seated at the bar, staring fixedly at one corner of the room, head in the clouds. He didn’t have anywhere to be for a few hours, and had the cash to burn on a drink, so he’d decided to pay a visit to Lobos. He told himself he was building up mental fortitude for his shift at work tonight. He was being careful not to get drunk or anything, he just wanted to take a while and chill. It was a comfortable atmosphere- not that busy right now, but perhaps he felt a bit safe since it was Dolan’s territory. Friendly ground. He was pulled from his thoughts when someone spoke, and he swiveled where he sat to glance at the speaker.

“Of course,” Adair agreed easily, and offered his pack alpha a grin as he slid his empty glass towards the man. “What are we toasting, dare I ask?”

"to a beautiful, familiar face.” he unscrewerd the cap and poured a generous amount, smile landing on his lips as quickly as the drink as served. call him an old fashioned alpha or just a man in a god mood, but dolan always perked up when his pack members came around. there was something about their scent that made the alpha relax. adair, without a doubt, being a part of that. “to you, to vivus. cheers.”

Stepping inside of the club, Avery was all too aware of the eyes that were on him. How could he not, when practically every wolf glanced or downright gawked in his direction as his towering figure stepped into the doors of Lobos. He was a pack master, entering the establishment of another pack master, and already he could hear the soft murmurs of wolves estimating what was about to happen - would blood spill? Would words be exchanged? As he approached the bar, the Vivus pack master approached him and offered a toast and the larger of the two couldn’t help but chuckle as he moved to face the other male more fully. “And what are we going to toast to? Two pack alphas getting together and not getting into a pissing contest?” The question was said in jest, his tone joking, as a hint of a smirk teased the corners of his lips, his dimples creating a crease in his thick beard. Though he had been an Audax wolf born and raised, he didn’t see a reason why two pack masters couldn’t converse without blood being shed.

"don’t count yourself lucky just yet, maybe I’m itching for attention today. imagine the headlines, pack alphas square off, fists of fury. you’d bring me a lot more business, not that I need it, but it’s always welcomed.” signals had gone off the moment he smelled something that wasn’t his own-- the scent of someone like him, a leader’s scent just as commanding. of course, dolan was the last person to care about the system and the packs and the hierarchy, he could give less fucks about beef in between ranks, he had a business, he had his own pack, unless he wanted to stir up trouble for the hell of it, he wasn’t going to have any problems here-especially not in his club. but the other alpha seemed calm and dolan had the rumors, the lenient alpha, the inclusive leader, omega rights equalists-- but rumors were rumors. “to drinking until we actually piss ourselves, how about it?”

it’s an UNWIND he needs after a particular hard day at the office— after firing yet another two alphas who though they could delegate tasks far above their paygrade. he shouldn’t get off on having that POWER, but he does ; he loves seeing the look of RAGE roll through the alphas as they’re dragged out by security. one of these days it’s going to get more ugly than it does, that they’re going to come after him. then again, they might not, perks of belonging to a pack ; especially one that values their strength. he’s alone at the bar and probably going to go home alone— but that’s alright, he’s lonely but he can deal. that was his plan, come here drink a little, pay the tab then go home. it wasn’t until an alpha approached him offering to toast. “that depends….—” charlie counters with relative ease, amazing what a couple beers will do. “what’re we toasting to?” he can think of a few things.

dolan whipped out his free arm to the side to unsheathe the watch on his wrist dramatically, bringing it back so he could count the little ticks and lines. “well, it’s been approximately three minutes since I haven’t had to kick anyone out- I think that alone deserves a whole damn parade.” the alpha tossed at the other with a flashy grin, sitting besides the stranger and popping the cap off the bottle in a millisecond. “or we can just set up a line of shots, make a friendly competition or, who knows, maybe I just needed an excuse to come around to you without flinging dirty, hyper alpha compliments. I’m not drunk enough just yet, give me a moment and I’ll see what I can do to flatter you.” he teased all too naturally, setting the perfectly full bottle of scotch between them. “besides, you look like you could use a drink or five.”

Of course Jae enjoyed a good glass of scotch as much as the next person, and after a long shift nothing took the edge off quite as well. But he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the offer, cocking his head to the side. “You’re not going to ID me?” He questioned. “I thought the law was anyone who looks under the age of 45 you always have to ID. I could be under the legal age for all you know.”  Of course he wasn’t, but he still had a rather youthful looking appearance.

"hm, you’re right, but you don’t look a day over forty six.” he continued the gag with a quirk of his brow, scooting over just a step, swishing the scotch around. “Now, I’m not exactly the best bar tender, but for you? I can make an exception.” gliding over the two short glasses, Dolan leaned against the bar, eyes flashing over the stranger- an omega by the faint scent- and hummed. “is that a yes?”

The bar seemed quiet and that was perfect for the doctor. He had volunteered for a shift at the hospital. They were always in need of an overnight doctor and Wes helped out when he could. Exhaustion screamed at him from every aching muscle, but he didn’t want to go home yet. Home during the day seemed foreign. A few drinks could do him some good. And Lobos seemed like a good spot for the moment. He watched as a man grabbed a bottle of scotch from behind the bar – owner or manager, someone who was of importance. At the question, Wes automatically smiled. “What are we toasting?” He took a few steps to close the distance between them.

"What isn’t there to toast about,” The alpha shot back with an easy smile, pouring himself a drink, amber liquid swirling around before it tipped back, Dolan reaching for a glass and filling the other a half-cup like his own. “We can toast to a new day, a perfect afternoon, a pretty new face around here-- to life.”

the club was in a soft hum-- nothing but a few day drinkers and passed out party goers. during this time (basically the entire day) Lobos transformed into a little bar, offering their patrons some time to relax, to hang out and for the ones in suits huddled around the corner, their own undisturbed negotiations. the alpha took a quick stride, his afternoon routine, dolan stopping at the bar for a drink, leaning over the bar to pick up a bottle of scotch, examining the label, and humming to himself as he poured himself an easy glass half full. of course he didn’t ignore the other wolf that was just a few steps away from him so the alpha extended his arm, shaking the bottle a little, “how ‘bout we have a toast?”
